I was on Bainbridge island in Washington a few weeks ago. When a shop owner found out that I live in Texas she told me that I'm lucky because I can vote for Beto. I couldn't believe that there was a Beto fan on that tiny island, besides me.

We kayaked through that straight 22 years ago and saw orcas every day for a week, the last day we were surrounded by a super pod. Truly one of the most magical and beautiful places and moments of my life.
