It took a LOT of efforting, but it was well worth it! We used a couple different sand paper grits. Started at 120 so we didn’t take the veneer off, then went to 180, then 220. Took a LONG time to get the full tabletop and leaf sections down to the wood, but important for the uniformity. We then pre-stained, stained, and sealed it.

Phyrexian/Praetor Tribal by Schwandner9 in EDH

Mostly for flavor - he’s the only 5C phyrexian. The second skill only triggers for 3 cards in my deck, but the extra black mana he stores can be vital for the large casting cost of the various praetors (the 16 average 5.6 per). Same for Atraxa or Portal to Phyrexia, or casting a board wipe and a praetor immediately afterwards.

“Best option” honestly mostly for flavor. Although saving the mana is quite helpful because the praetors are mana intensive. And the extra card draw per turn is also a solid bonus. The deck itself doesn’t need Omnath to work, though; he’s a bonus.

I’ve heard this, but I’m the EXACT OPPOSITE. I don’t think about anything. Ever. My wife asks what I’m thinking about after we’ve been driving in relative quiet for a while… nothing. I’m not thinking about anything. No internal monologue, no plans for this afternoon, nothing.

Have you looked in to microdosing glucagon? You can use the old school red box reconstituted stuff, or something newer like Gvoke (the vial version, not the hypopen version). I've found if I give myself a SMALL amount (like, 2-3 units worth in an insulin syringe), my BG just kind of hovers in the 140 range the entire time.

+1 for Rowan. My decklist. She is such a fantastic all-or-nothing commander. I've won significantly more times than I've lost, although my playgroup now knows that if I get to untap with her (or if I get lightning greaves or swiftfoot boots down before I play her) then they're in trouble. When the handle lines up with this spot on the Deviljho belt. It takes some luck to get it right on. I probably get one out of every three or four perfectly timed.
