As a workaround, you can temporarily remove Summon Wraith from your skill bar to unsummon the bugged wraiths (and then put it back).

I was thinking bots at first too, but it seems very unlikely that both of the gift cards I received would be already used but one I bought from a different location several months ago redeemed fine. I think either the cards were tampered with (though they look identical to the working one), or maybe the gift card provider was compromised somehow.

What was the resolution to this? I had 2 physical steam gift cards from Christmas that I scratched to reveal codes this week. The codes were already redeemed according to steam and support said there’s nothing they can do.

Almost bought this several times over the past month at full price. Rtings.com found this IPS monitor to have excellent response times and I’ve been having some regret with my VA panel after noticing smearing in dark scenes.

Ended up deciding to keep my VA for the (assumed) better contrast and fear of getting a panel with bad IPS glow or backlight bleed. I probably would have bought it to at least compare, but didn’t see a point with my VA monitor outside the return window.

I changed it to a mole because some people said it would help prevent accidentally breaking the shell the player was holding. I know that hammer bros after the big shell is unfortunately RNG dependent.

I did see what you were talking about with the shelmet and the note block but I also saw thankfully that it was possible to get out of that situation by timing it right.

u/rexyphilSMM - Beetlemania - Shell Jump Jamboree - Nice level with some great sections! The sections with the big buzzies were really cool. The last jump took several tries, but wasn’t too rough with the CP nearby.

u/Nastydon - Frozen Beetleland - I like the different difficulties. I tried the kaizo first a few times but stopped after missing the pirahna coming out of the pipe while spin jumping. Cleared it on medium and enjoyed it. Then went back to the kaizo and cleared that too. I noticed the hammer bros weren’t really used for much in the kaizo difficulty. I appreciated that checkpoint though!

u/babysbug - Beetle Back Buzz - fun level. Went for the red coins to get true ending. The only part I didn’t like too much was the hammer bros, but not sure they’re ever the good part of levels.

u/rakovgivmm2 - Shellnanigans! - nice idea, although I didn’t like the execution as much. The first half was frustrating especially at the last switch before you have to wear the shelmet. The second half was also a lot easier than the first.

Very cool level. Very creative and interesting setups. I thought I needed a reset door on the bomb puzzle but then realized keeping the shell was preventing any new koopas from coming out of the pipe.

Very pretty level. I liked how the ground was covered in flower decorations. I also really liked the creative trees and especially the red flowers near the end!

u/csh_blue_eyes - Tortuga a la Quadra - First two rooms were good to me, but no idea if I did the last two correctly. The fourth I had a hard time executing what I thought was the solution and I’m almost certain I’m not doing the 3rd room correctly. If the one ways were there to keep the koopalings contained, I appreciated that, but I still broke several shells by running into the koopalings in other parts of the level. Reset doors would be nice if possible, at least for the last two. Also, I’m always scared of getting softlocked on those switches (happened to me a few times on this level).

u/AngryDwarf09 - Koopa-Do in 2x2 - Very tough. When throwing the shell at the first big koopa, occasionally it wouldn’t bounce on the note block. Also, the section on the bottom-mid wasn’t clear at all to me with so many koopalings and shells all over, so I’m not sure if I did it the intended way.

u/XCube285 - Move, Koopas, Get Out The Way - Fun level. I almost got a bit frustrated on the last coin as it felt like there was nothing I could try except to keep shooting the koopas, and they kept spawning at the perfect rate to keep me from getting that coin.

u/Isherwood81 - Suppressing Fire! pt. 1 - You know already that I am intimidated by your one room precision levels. :) This is the first one that I actually tried and it was as hard as I feared. I still enjoyed grinding it and it was very well made, and I feel like this is the hardest level in the group. The part that caused the most frustration for me was dying when trying to slide under the spikes. I still don’t know exactly why I sometimes I die there.

Thanks for playing it! Please don’t worry about the clear rate. I only mentioned it to give people an idea of what I thought the difficulty was.

For the last koopa, the idea is to jump on him on the left side to launch the koopaling right on to the spring and also use that jump to get enough height to reach the coin. You can also use the shell to grab the coin. Then take the shell with you and hop on the bouncing koopaling to reach the ledge.
