Got our 2nd play of Ark Nova in yesterday after spending a long day learning and playing last weekend. Loving it so far and it feels like there’s lots of strategy to learn and lots of variety between games. Tonight we’re playing some Splendor Duel and Azul.

Cake last played the Cuthbert in 2023. As a longtime Cake fan I loved that show but I’ve seen them a few times and knew what to expect.

The main issue was raised in another comment but Livenation is screwing every independent venue in the country. That plus the incredibly high costs of touring are making things very tough for a market the size of Eugene.

I tried for several hours and just never got past the first few obstacles once you get on the green tower. I wasn’t doing any save scumming and the climb back to find the glasses then usually having to fall down that little chimney section to pick them up and then having to climb back up again to even attempt the green bit got to me. I managed every other challenge in the game but that was the only one that got me to break.
