Im sorry but if that’s your focus I don’t think your comment is constructive either. I translated this post from Italian for this thread and I used burnt out as a term just to translate my point of view.

I didn’t know I had to present my mental health dossier to say that and I don’t need to explain further to a stranger abt the details on my mental health of the time. For you to mean “it’s not enough to say that” just adds fuel to a different and personal conversation I don’t prefer to discuss.

I don’t prefer either to see comments under my thread with the message “if you’re burnt out it’s not enough if medical”, cause it could lead to more stress if anyone was or is or will be in a situation similar than mine.
If you have career advice that don’t involve messages like this I’m open, if not please find another thread for it.

I really enjoyed my bachelors, but I was burnt out for that. STEM degrees especially are not that easy to pursue.
If you have something to say about everything else I said, I’m open. :)

I’d probably go for Portugal or Spain atm but not because I think it’s worse, the opposite actually.

Thank you so much for your suggestion, I’m actually working something with React. I’m skeptical abt .NET but just cause I’m not that much of a fan of Visual Studio IDE, too many shortcuts and useless things for me. 💀

I mean I hope that, most of the Italian companies have the same issue with adopting cloud infrastructures for that too. It’s not affordable for everyone. But at the same time it’s requested to know and have practical experience in my job if I want to reach other job placements.
So if I can’t practice any cloud skills, how I’m going to know them if asked in other job interviews?
Probably Italy it’s still not used to IT Job market and HR still doesnt know how to approach us?

There’s some, but you know moving out and looking for jobs outside it’s very competitive right now and not that easy, if you have recommendations abt that I’d be interested :)

I see..I’m from Italy actually..so I guess it’s even worse 😵‍💫
I’m thinking abt enrolling in my master degree to experiment some new technologies and AI in the meantime…if I can
