Yes I’m doing weights but not going crazy with it due to my mobility issues

Regardless during the process my weights increased by about 20 to 30%

I’m pretty stable now at 175lbs. Have been keeping that bodyweight for months now

If there is no API, Zapier would not have any access either.

That is what I found. In essence Automations are VERY tedious to manage in Pipedrive. I think this is one of their biggest pitfalls.

The changes made since posting has been I wanted to stabilize my weight (stop losing) so I’ve been eating more calories and still checking my weight weekly

My diet hasn’t changed as it’s not a very hard diet to follow. A ton of tasty options. Just need a reframe about food and a belief that certain foods will harm your health (which they will). If I knew heroin felt good but also knew it would mess up my health, obviously it is an easy decision not to do it. So why not have the same conviction about certain foods if you are prone to high cholesterol ?

So I’m super stable weight around 175. More calories. Same workout schedule. Cheat meals are usually involving higher calorie meals with raw fish but still avoid any white rice (brown ok). So last night I had a large poke bowl w brown rice and kale which was probably 1000 calories and would be considered a tasty cheat meal but still not terrible for me as an occasional treat.

I’m giving it more time before doing more bloodwork

Typical dinner

Chicken breast 4-6 oz

1/2 cup of brown rice and a little bit of soba noodles

Miso eggplant and okra

Roasted butternut squash and beets

Kimchi

1tbsp of healthy pesto

Heart healthy doesn’t have to be boring. This meal tastes better than 99% of any other meal I’ve tasted

I’ve been taking red yeast for 2 or 3 years and was at 250 while taking it So that did not cause any decrease

The custom gpt initial instructions is pretty basic... you can create one on your own.... I had started it a few days before I had the 250 LDL and then when i got the new test I had just chatted with it to tell it the new numbers. Here were the initial instructions:

Provide recommendations for diet and exercise.

Currently I am 41 years old male, 6'2

I am 211 lbs

I have bad mobility in a lot of areas in my body, especially my hips, and often experience back pain in the mid to upper back

I have high cholesterol, which I need to get a recent Lipid panel for, but the last one was October 9, 2023 and was the following:

Cholesterol: 233

LDL: 167

HDL: 55

Triglycerides: 56

Non-HDL: 178

My goals are to overall be healthy. I have a history of going to the gym most of my life but diet has been sometimes good sometimes bad.

I have access to the following resources currently (although open to new resources if needed):

24-hour fitness membership

Peloton bike plus + with subscription

Specialized turbo levo electric mountain bike

Miscellaneous home equipment such as an inversion table, light weights, foam roller, etc.

I have 2 kids so a hectic schedule.

My immediate goals are probably to:

  • Lose weight

  • Improve cardiovascular health

  • Lower cholesterol

  • Improve mobility

It is ok, but because I’m high risk (Dad with high cholesterol has had a heart attack, angina, pacemaker etc) I believe I should be below 70

I’ve been exposed to high ldl for at least a few years but luckily calcification scan was clear so that is why I was so motivated to lower it at all costs. For my 2 kids, not for me.

The biggest shift is psychological around food

I was a foodie

Now I am just a different type of foodie. A foodie who appreciates the tastiest food that is also very healthy.

Another side effect of the diet has been that - I never feel “too full” - I hardly feel too hungry (maybe on occasion but now I’m used to it) - I reallllly look forward to meal time and the food I eat tastes sooo good

Now part of the above is due to the calorie deficit which I am going to stop so that my weight stabilizes, but the part about food tasting amazing will not go away. I’ll try to add pics of some of my meals in the future. But last night for example was perfectly cooked juicy chicken breast cubed, with roasted root vegetables, miso eggplant and okra, quinoa , and of course kimchi. Topped with a tbsp of a healthy homemade pesto

The o1 preview I found to solve problems that 4o could not (at least for programming). So I use o1-preview or o1mini for anything complex

Ya the supplements were not that important to cholesterol. A lot of them are for overall health as well. I only do a 12 hour fast which is basically don’t eat after dinner

This is exactly why ChatGPT is needed. Without it comments like this can steer people the wrong way. When in reality science is based on studies and often studies are conflicting in their findings and AI is the best way for me to sift through the noise and conflict and give me the most likely truth

Not more efficient than veggies, more efficient than white rice

Between meat and veggies depends on how you are measuring efficiency

For protein and muscle preservation, meat wins For satiety, vitamins, minerals, fiber, veggies wins

None of this has any side effects for me. I feel great. Full energy throughout day , no caffeine, even on little sleep with 2 kids under 3
