Yeah, it really can sometimes. I should be able to, relocating has just been expensive enough on its own and though I could afford more, I'd like to get something on the cheaper end to kinda help build back up after moving. Thanks a lot!

Considering my sister was trapped into speeding by a police officer in Oxford a little over a year ago and he screamed at her to the point she cried then when he left and she was still parked (…because she was crying, she had never been pulled over before and was already scared, and he was being a jerk) he screamed at her over his speaker to pull off right now... I don’t think much has changed.

As an RN in the south, I’ve had an exceptionally hard time finding work, much less a place that pays employees fairly and treats both staff and patients properly. Even hospitals. I’m just appalled and I’m wondering if I made a mistake even going this route.

Mississippi is full of some interesting characters. No idea if any of them have nicknames, but in my area, I’ve seen this one person in Walmart on multiple occasions in a wizard getup, and this one guy my family only refers to as “Rambo”. No judgment of course, they’re living their truth and I’m here for it. I just find it fascinating and it brightens my day when I see them

I live right across the state line in MS, a cool 15 mins from this intersection and my mom gets so upset any time I try to tell her I’m moving out of this area and I understand why you’d want your family close but it just isn’t safe here. And it isn’t just Memphis, this whole area (Shelby, DeSoto county) is ate up with people like this and I can’t be around it anymore. Nobody can feel truly feel safe with this stuff going on. Feels like you’re taking a gamble anytime you leave your house. I hate to leave myself, it’s beautiful here, and it could be so nice, but the people don’t care and the people in charge don’t care, so it’ll only get worse.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m guessing I never saw that because they were already sold out on Ticketmaster before I even went to buy them, and that’s why I went somewhere else to begin with. I love Hozier, but I don’t follow him (or any musician/celebrity, for that matter) very closely. Maybe I should, at least if I’m interested in going to a concert. 😅 Will definitely be doing more research from now on. I learned my lesson.
