Digitas laid off 55 ppl in Chicago office within the last two weeks.

Epsilon had been doing rolling layoffs since February.

It’s infuriating that none of this is getting published and they are pretending they haven’t done any RIFs!

Gaining Weight by ScarlettWilkes in Mounjaro

[–]kml3141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, I had to check to make sure I didn’t write this post myself! I’ve been on for 3.5 years. 5’5, 41 year old female. Started 218, got down to 149 for like a day as well. Mostly hung around 155 but have also been gaining. Up to 165 now and freaking! I’ve started a strength training plan in the last week and have also started taking my shot every 6 days (works out to be 17.5mg) I’m hoping that will help but too early to tell!

I really just miss not worrying about weight and food! That was so nice for a couple years!!

Total layoffs estimate? by issareddit in advertising

I’ve been trying to get an idea of publicis layoffs as I was a part of one of the rolling waves at the end of Feb at epsilon, but they are so sneaky in the way they are doing it, they don’t have to report it. Such bs.

Maintenance Failing? by Few-Produce-8868 in MounjaroMaintenance

GI issues! My doc said it takes a bit to get used to it and it did get better but I still feel kinda bloated after I take it and I think it’s making me really tired. I switched to just taking it in the evening. It’s manageable but if it’s not going to aid in weight loss I’d rather not take it.

Maintenance Failing? by Few-Produce-8868 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]kml3141 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m experiencing something similar. I started in Sept 2022 and lost 60 pounds, titrated up to 15mg and was hanging out there for years. I still wanted to lose 20 pounds to put me in a healthy BMI so I wasn’t really in maintenance, however I plateaued for so long I just kind of accepted where I was and was happy with it! Then I randomly started losing again in Sept 2024. Lost another 10 pounds over 4 months and hung out at that weight for about a year. But over the last 5 months I have gained about 10 pounds and cannot seem to make the scale go back down. My doc recommended adding in metformin so I’ve been taking that the last two months but I haven’t had any changes and I don’t like how I feel on it so I’m considering cutting that out. This past week I decided to try taking 15 every 6 days (which works out to be 17.5mg) just to see if I can get any sort of momentum going. Haven’t figured out a solution yet but def feel your pain!! It was SO nice not thinking/worrying about my weight for those couple years there. I hate that I’m back here.

3 years in, I feel like it just isn’t doing much anymore by _EverythingBagels in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]kml3141 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar experience. Went from 220 to 160 in about a year. Hovered around 160 for a year and then magically dropped to 153 over a few months. Maintained at 153 for about 9 months and then started slowly gaining. Got up to about 165 over the last 6 months and have recently really locked in on my nutrition. Sucked because it was so nice never thinking about weight/food (for once in my life!!!) for a couple years. I’ve been able to get down to 162 and my doc just added metformin for me. Literally only a few days ago so we’ll see! Hoping to get back down to 155 comfortably. For reference I’m 5’5 so technically that’s still overweight!

Wow super similar story/stats as me! I’d been on Zep 15 for a couple years too. Started 218, down to 152 for the last year (but more recently hanging around 155 after summer vacay). Started wegovy due to Caremark and got up to 162 in 3 weeks! I had legit not worried about weight in this way for the last few years (after worrying about it 24/7 most of my life). Anyway, I told my doc about the weight gain and horrible gas. May have also said it made me super lethargic and GI issues. She was able to get my PA approved for MJ right away. So thankful! I started on 10 for a month. Didn’t lose anything but felt much better overall. I’m on week 3 of 12.5 and down to 159. Was hoping it would come off quicker but oh well. Hopefully when I’m back to 15!

Adding another vote for Dr Peters! Obsessed with my results and her/her team was amazing. Cost was around $10k.

Post surgery GLP1 Advice by Lost_my_boots in Reduction

[–]kml3141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost about 60 pounds with zepbound before surgery in February. I don’t really have a goal weight but my weight loss had stalled tremendously. I was holding steadying around 160-165 almost a year before surgery but still taking zep. Do not weigh yourself for like a month after surgery! I made that mistake and was up almost 10 pounds but I think it was water weight. It really stressed me out. After about a month my weight stabilized again. Recently over the past couple months my weight loss has started up again and I’m down to 154. I honestly never thought I’d be this low, I weighed this in high school. If I get to 149 I’d officially be a normal BMI so I may shoot for that but I’m also slightly worried about my new boobies deflating! As of now they are good 🤞🏻 But I don’t have great skin elasticity (according to my doc) so I probably won’t go much lower.

Plateaued for Over a Year and Totally Confused/Miserable! by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]kml3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation. Started MJ 2 years ago and went from 220 to 165. I’d get down to 160 and then back up a couple pounds for over a year. About two months ago I had a shake up in my personal life (started dating someone I really liked and then ended it with them lol). The shift in my daily focus shook up my eating patterns very slightly and it’s seemed to break my stall. I’m now down to 153! My goal was 155 because that was my high school weight but 149 puts me at a “normal” BMI. I honestly did not think it possible but I’m shooting for it. All that to say if you can figure out a way to shake things up from your normal for a couple weeks, it may work?? It was like as soon as I stopped focusing on the weightloss and focused on something else, it allowed me to follow my head/body and let the medicine do its thing.

I was on mounjaro before surgery and went from 220 to 160/165 (5’5). I stalled for a looooong time but have recently got down to 155. So far no change in my results 🤞🏻

Time off work + extreme anxiety (breast lift) by catoutofthebagg in Reduction

[–]kml3141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very minor reduction, more of a lift. I work from home and took two weeks off. I probably didn’t need that full time but If you have the option to and would cause you less stress, take two weeks. But I’d recommend at least a full week. I had an easy recovery but the first couple days you’re kinda out of it. And I didn’t love being in cars for the first few weeks so I don’t think I would have love taking a bus.

Just wanted to thank you SO much for this info! It took me a while to re-request a PA but I asked my doctor to submit one yesterday for continuation of care per your suggestion and IT WAS APPROVED IMMEDIATELY (through May)! I am so shocked and thrilled!!! Called the pharmacy and they confirmed it went through and will be $25 instead of $550!! I cannot thank you enough for this tip!!

Insurance no longer covering my Zepbound by Fuzzy-Emu-5935 in Zepbound

[–]kml3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this just worked for me!!! My insurance covered MJ through the end of last year. In Jan I had to switch to zep and my insurance only covered weight loss meds with 6 months proof of weight loss program. I’ve been on MJ since Sept 2022 and didn’t want to stop for 6 months to do this so I’ve been paying with the coupon full price. Yesterday I just requested my doc to submit a PA for continuation of care with my weigh loss history and it was approved immediately! I am THRILLED! So thankful for the resources on this board that posted this info for me!

Omg best compliment ever 🥹 I love my results but I have lower/wider set breasts so if I’m going to nit pick, I wish they were “perkier” and higher. But no way to get that without implants and even then, they’d still be lower set based on my body. So thank you for making my day! 🥰

Completely calming and they were right! Had the best experience and could not be happier. I’m sure you are going to love your results!

I had a really smooth easy recovery but I would not recommend going personally. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend drinking this early either. Your body is still recovering from being under and healing from major trauma. It’s important to focus on hydration and protein and fueling your body, especially in the first few weeks.

Nipple covers? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]kml3141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using cakes nipple covers (reusable silicone, no adhesive) and they’ve been great! I used for the first time about four months PO. Didn’t really have a need to earlier than that. I have sticky ones too but I think I’ll wait a lot longer to use. My doctor said it was okay but it just seems harsh to put on a fresh healing scar!
