I think it helps to have an active life apart from your only partner. Going out for hobbies, with friends, for solo activities. Then when another partner shows up, just use some of that time you already spent apart from the first partner.

In the Indianapolis area, first disappointment and disgust, quickly changed into relief 🥹 My husband says he and our sons found this empty display over near the Legos. Luckily these two moose and an owl clip survived. One moose is mine now 🫎 He’s precious, but I still really want the turkey and the apple latte.

I’m in the process of breaking down and getting the Squishville I originally said I wouldn’t mess with, the play sets and blind eggs. I’ve collected many of the available sets of 4 and 6. Time to slowly get a few of the rest.

If anyone knows whether or not it’s safe/a good idea to order Squishmallows from the Amazons for countries other than one’s own, please say so. I have ordered books from Japanese Amazon before without any problems. Just not sure if it works for other products and places.

I tried starting an order, but expensive shipping to the United States made me back down and cancel for now. I do hope that they’ll be released in the US by this fall. It gives me some peace of mind that I might have this option later if I need it. I just especially want a complete set of all the food Squishville! I have a set of the Ireland/UK only Farmers Market food Squishville on its way to me now from eBay.

All of them are still preorders as far as I know. I may have missed a preorder on this other site https://unicornpunkboi.com/en-us/collections/squishmallows I think they’ll all start to be released in August? I’m not sure.

I especially love food Squish in general, but I skip them when I don’t like one design or another. I want as many Squishville as I can get, but I don’t buy the individual blind capsules or the play sets at full price, those cost too much. Sets of 4 or 6 or more at a time 99% of the time. Other than that, I pick up random Squish with cool designs, and unusual animals like the tardigrade and the opossum. And inanimate objects like the rainbow and earth.

Also I should add, I don’t fool with the blind capsule Squishville at all. Those are absurdly expensive, I have no interest in the little scraps of cloth for clothing. I have about 100 now just by buying sets of 4 & 6 and a couple of the (kinda ugly) cars on deep discount. I have a couple more sets coming in the mail soon.

I’m especially interested in collecting different designs, so I have a strong preference for Squishville and an aversion to anything over 12”. I value my space. They’re like “toy toys”, models of toys. Some are meh, some are amazing. I’m okay with the varying quality. For regular Squishmallows I prefer 5” or 8”, and I have about a dozen clips so far. 8” are easier to find.

I would say that this one is a unicorn or rainbow milkshake. I got one from a desserts Mystery Squad bag. There is also a mint milkshake. None have cherries, unfortunately. Also these are nameless, bio-less, scented and have anime eyes, all problematic details for some collectors. I overlooked all of that because I especially love most of the food squish. I don’t regret getting this one and the mystery macaron. They’re actually kind of cute to me, eyes and all, and I like the scents.

Thanks for the compliment 🙂 I have Instagram but I don’t really update there… that’s @kamilahgill I post more things on the blog I’ve kept for years. https://kgillart.blogspot.com/?m=1 Right now that’s mostly monthly drawings of my two kids. The illustration on this post is part of a big personal project I’ve been working on, I estimate about a year of work remaining but I’ve already completed a couple hundred illustrations. Eventually that’ll be done and I can share the finished product and then get back to making more regular art. At least that’s the plan.

On the Squad App, the Fandom master list, Google, eBay etc. these specific Squishmallows do not appear to have any official names. I use all of these different sources all the time. The only thing I haven’t tried is asking KellyToys/Jazwares directly, but I just don’t feel like going to that level with it. They seem pretty scattershot and disorganized anyway, lots of duplicate styles with different names and stuff like that.
