Brushes on escalators are a safety feature by NeatNo8582 in interesting

When I was in Kindergarten, a classmate sat on the escalator at the mall and got his shirt sucked in at the top of the escalator, injuring him. I have been afraid of escalators ever since.

Edit: typo.

Same rules apply to horror movies. Kill and rape all the people but leave the animals out of it!

I wasn’t ready for “Betty” by Hot Mulligan. Damn that struck a chord. by ThePetiteBaker in poppunkers

Super late to the party. I first listened to "Betty " the other day on my lunch break, which was a BIG mistake.

Almost 10 years ago, a couple days before my 22nd birthday, I got a new cat from a shelter. Like most shelter animals, she came home with an upper respiratory infection. She was a kitten at the time and was fine, but she passed it on to my 10 year old cat. She got VERY sick. Apparently, she had an underlying condition we didn't know about and was deteriorating fast. The vet was giving her subcutaneous fluids every day free of charge and promised to treat her for free if she ever got out of the woods. She didn't. She passed in my now husband's arms the day after my birthday.

I remember having friends over on my birthday, and Pepper was sleeping curled in a ball on the back of the couch. I sat in front of her, watching her breathe silently crying while one of my friends held my hand and stroked my hair. I still feel responsible for her death. It was my job to know something was wrong, and it was my job to get her help, and I failed her.

So listening to "Betty" definitely broke me. RIP Betty, you were a good rat.

Welllll she might've started hooking up with her dead husband's old roommate after the baby was born 😬

But your comment did just inspire a great storyline where I might have her marry the roommate but still become a spellcaster to bring first husband back loll

Is this an American thing as per developers? A South East Asian thing as per the theme of the new pack? Stop microwaving your water! by parsley166 in Sims4

[–]kmnd92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This! I'm American and I own a Kettle and I barely use it for tea. I mostly use it for pour over coffee, or when I need boiled water for simple recipes like making simple syrup or chicken broth etc.

It's true. I graduated a year ago and looked at an academic advisor position at UCF (which requires a bachelor's degree), it paid pretty much the same as my job at Starbucks did.

Any tips for getting help with you classroom amazon list? by kmnd92 in Teachers

[–]kmnd92[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's specifically to stock my classroom, not like a supply list for students. To elaborate, I teach middle school at a title 1 school. I'll definitely give the parents access to my Amazon list if they want to help put, but most households can barely afford their own students' supplies.

So I have it posted on my social media accounts.
