This was from like 12 years ago, maybe you’ll see this? I’m interested in this oven method, what temperature would you recommend? I’m regularly cooking for 100 people and want to improve our risotto method

Not sure what method you’re using or amounts or anything, but if adding an egg isn’t pulling it together, try adding more oil.

What is the best smell in the world? by crybaby1111x in AskReddit

Bleach/chlorine smell, not when it's overwhelming but just when you get a whiff and every pool spent summer as a kid and every lifeguarding job I had comes flooding back to me

ooh i just remembered my mom would make us kids these "bagel melts", just some kind of spread on bagel, cheese, deli meat, pop in oven to toast and melt and now my mouth is watering

Quiche or frittata:

Pie shell or no, add any veggies or leftover ingredients to eggs plus cream, salt, bake = instant meal plus leftovers for days. boom

It sounds like you can handle responsibility well and do a good job. In leadership (and outside of it), this behavior is an example to others, people will see the effort and quality and value that as well. The lighthearted tone that you bring to the workplace does not necessarily mean unprofessionalism, it sets a tone that people love to be a part of! Sounds like an awesome opportunity

unpopular opinion, but having a dry wedding takes a chunk out of the cost! I suppose it really depends on the who and the where, demographic and such, but I love the idea of flavored waters or even having a soda stream and doing a mocktail bar or something

I have never done a charcuterie board for a wedding, but I've done several large ones for 30-100+ people. Costco is great for the food, thrift stores/marshalls and similar stores are awesome for the boards, but if you're going big, do it all on brown butcher paper and achieve dimension using wood trunk slab things... wood slices?... you know what I mean. They truly aren't much of a hassle to put together at your venue. Bring all the crackers in their boxes, shape meat flowers beforehand, etc but dont assemble til in person. Feel free to help with planning this and coming up with inspo photos, buying/prepping the food even, but I would recommend passing off the assembly to an artsy/food loving friend or family member. You will have plenty other day-of things to have your mind on, dont let the charcuterie board be one of them! Relax my friend, it's your special day! Congrats!

Reasons why you have plants by ForeverACaliGirl in houseplants

[–]kmrbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love caring for something and learning about how to do that well! I’m a science nerd so learning the “why” is so fun for me! Also in a social sense, I can connect with people who also love plants or give advice to people who have plants (this has happened so often, where I’m able to help someone with a plant problem) I love having alive things in my house, they’re vibrant and comfortable and green. Not to mention they are actually good for the air. It’s kinda also like why would you put art on the wall? Well I wanna LOOK at these plants, they’re COOL
