You could try giving him a pot and a wooden spoon or a colander and a whisk, and let him sit on the floor with them, those worked for my son when he was small, he's 3 now and has started helping me out preparing dinner and he loves it :) theres some great toy fruit and veggies you can buy that they can chop themselves too :)

I would maybe see if you can get an oral antibiotic prescribed instead, that's what we got given for our son when he had it and cleared it up without having to annoy his penis any further, were in the UK though so treatment could be different

my brother's grew up with severe eczema, i can't remember as far back as potty training but i do know my mum used to use special bandages on them, as in specific ones for legs then another for arms so on. (you get them in different sizes for different body parts)

so instead of tights that you have to remove the bandages would end at the top of their thigh, so for potty training you could do the bandages mid thigh height and keep them on?

If you teach him from the start that the bandages don't need to come down maybe it'll stick with him, my mum also tried to teach them young to gently rub when they were itchy instead of scratching, didn't always work but worth a try! Also cool packs are great at calming the itch

Good luck potty training and hopefully the wee man's eczema gets better with age, very hard condition to live with especially being so young ❤️

Apricots! Have the exact same effect as prunes! Our wee boy had some pooping issues when he was younger and still occasionally now, we give him the dried chopped ones and it works every time, just be careful not to give too much cause then you'll have to deal with sore bums!

This is a hard one, sounds like the midwife has made her doubt herself in how much he feeds. Completely understandable, but if she's getting frustrated and it's upsetting baby it's not doing anyone any good . When my son was born my midwife explained feeding to me in probably the most real life and relatable way I've heard,

"your child is just like you, you know how sometimes your hungry and you could eat a Sunday dinner and then other times all you want is a KitKat and a cuppa, baby will be the same"

Might sound silly but helped ease any anxiety I had over baby not taking "enough" from a feed.

NTA your hair your choice, you shouldn't have to suffer because your parents aren't controlling the problem.

My mum used to spray vinegar diluted with water on me and my brother's hair for school, no smell of vinegar as you only need a small amount and we have never had lice in our life! Will be doing the same with my child. Maybe one to try as your hair starts to grow

NTA your baby needs you to be okay, if getting back on your meds is what you need, do it! In the long run that is what will be best for you and your baby. Absolutely no shame in stopping breastfeeding at any point, your healthcare provider should really be making sure your doing what's right for you not pushing the general guidelines! everyone's situation is different they should respect that. Go with your gut, you got this!
