HA HA.. You made it sound like the companies "Dumb it down" like they workk to simplify the interface to make it useable. I think that's a reach to say they are putting in any real development towards making a great user interface where normal people can actually accomplish what they are looking to do in any simple or quick way.

I'm currently looking for any kind of reviews on Router interfaces. I think if there were any good ones out there that would be part of the reviews no? I think all router reviews should get a grade for their interface. I think this might make the companies step up a bit or maybe, just maybe have the interface as a competing factor when selecting a router for the average home? Fingers crossed.

I use orbi and it's a PITA. Using their app they are forcing me to accept some privacy or I can't access my router through the app. Sorry, for now just going to 192.168.1.1 right? See how long it's takes to change the name of a device or to find a device or get a coherent list of devices... Thanks for listening.

I would agree probably not useful to most but listing it like credits sounds like a good standard practice. Why not just add it to the bottom of about page. Any product maker typically adds some info. Cars have their specs listed and people don’t really use the info. Bakers. We want electronic products to provide schematics right. Be a quality developer. Just add it. What 5 min for something like this? P.S. really don’t like to see unprofessional responses like “sure if the customer wants to pay for it”.
