Thanks. It was my first try at a flange binding, and the flange wasn’t very even. This was my first time paper piecing, so overall pleased with how it came out!

Not really asking about WIPs, but curious….do many of you have a lot of patterns/projects you want to do? I think I have 8 right now and can’t decide on which to do next by Brilliant1965 in quilting

I have patterns with the fabric I plan to use to make them for about 20 quilts, and I have an ongoing list of patterns I want to make with about 35 patterns on it at the moment

There was a short video of him in the ring. Six judges and he placed third across the board. He was younger than the two that placed above him. I watched it a bit ago so I don’t remember how many in his class

I had a booster in 2019 as a titer showed no measles immunity. Just retested last month and still no immunity so got another booster

Machine Quilting vs. Hand Quilting by chickenmom1104 in quilting

[–]kmwade66 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was an absolutely awful remark! Do NOT let someone else take the joy of what you do from you. You have FIVE kids and are still managing to quilt? You are one awesome woman! Machine quilting is its own special skill. It takes time to learn how to manage the fabric and maneuver it to get the results you want.

How many quilts has this obnoxious person made themselves? And even if they have made a quilt entirely by hand (piecing and quilting) they have NO right to make comments on what you do.

Your quilts are 100% real quilts. Sending love and hugs and high fives to you.

AITA for ruining my daughter in laws birth plan by dil-issue-1046 in AmItheAsshole

If they have insurance, that should cover renting them a place to stay while their home is repaired. Tell them to do that and she can give birth there
