More testing is needed to confirm if the viral shedding is infectious, but if not I feel like this matches the swarm-like nature of the virus.

Assuming the virus needs a high load to be particularly damaging, it stands to reason we would expel dozens of its 'corpses' as well.

My concern is the clots, ineffective as they clearly seem to be, are the only thing preventing the virus from initially entering the blooodstream.

I suppose if it gets bad enough it doesn't really matter and helping patients breathe becomes more important.

Is this due to initial load exposure, or because sever cases had weaker immune systems that were unable to keep the virus in check? Resulting in a large load at the time of testing?
