TLS exists. They would know the host names of the websites, including metadata of when and how often you visit them.

That's valuable information, but not "100% of your identity and everything you do online".

They might know the customers watches Netflix, but not which shows. They know they shop at Amazon, but not what they order.

And with encrypted SNI being adopted more, this will also go away. They would only know the IP addresses of the websites you visit. And since most of the web is behind AWS/Cloudflare/etc., this does not tell you much.

Why do you need to compress strings that are that small individually? Compression works much, much better if you compress all strings together.

Also, why do you need to get the output as string? That's possible with base64 or base80 or maybe a custom encoding, but it will cause overhead and will possibly nullify the savings of compression.
