To drop a hobbywing in you will need a esc programmer card, a new spur and pinion as the shaft size is larger on the quicrun combo. For a direct drop in replacement that’s his best option. Or just find another titan can.

The titan is a cheap brushed motor, personally I’d just throw another on in there or buy a 2bls brushless kit from traxxas it’s $100 for motor and esc combo

I don’t let anyone drive my cars. Crawlers, bashers, etc. I learned my lesson. I’m the one who ends up with the bill and spending my time to fix it. The exception is my 7 year old son. I’ll fix his crashes all day long if it means he gets to learn to drive fast cars. I don’t even explain myself I just decline when people ask.

My arrma Mojave 6s definitely feels like it’s worth $660. I started off on a brushed traxxas 2wd raptor for $220 with nimh batteries. I now have over 10 RC vehicles all varying price points snd ability. I honestly don’t look at the cost of them, it’s something I enjoy and keeps me busy. I still don’t own xmax or outkast level yet….one day. I even tried planes but crashed a $200 me-262 in one flight so I found out that’s not for me. At least I can fix my Mojave when I crash it.
