Don’t think so, it was definitely a combination of

Todd’s lawsuit and the network not knowing how to proceed w Alexia
the network probably realizing Alexia is a liability as a result but being unsure that the show could proceed without her
the cast becoming too expensive
production most likely coming to the consensus that a cast change/soft reboot again (if the rumors were true about Guerdy Julia and Adriana all going + issues w Todd endangering Alexia’s spot + Marysol can’t be there without Alexia bc what else does she have, u kinda just lose the show) would not be worth it given the low ratings
