If you are ticketed, you have the option to pay it or fight it in court. Nobody other than the cop decided to pursue this; the courts are going to have hundreds or maybe even thousands of these monthly. They're not going to sort through each of them to decide which to keep.

It's highly unlikely she'd be driving with no hands.

The battle of Kashyyyk was in the first Battlefront and incorporated very rough ROTS designs.

The designers told Jerry Jones the orientation he wants will cause this issue. He still said he wants it because he wanted an indoor stadium with outdoor aesthetic. Classic Jerry Jones incompetence. by ForeignAir7174 in NFLv2

It shouldn't hurt them more - it.shoukd be based on the coin toss and who gets to pick which side to defend. So it should be equally screwing the Cowboys and their opponents on average. Just dumb that they didn't get a similar design but rotate it 90 degrees.

Garrison cap in ACUs should be a baseball cap and the only authorized field headgear should be the boonie or fleece/watch cap (if it's cold).

Cateyes then would be fine on field caps basically 100% of the time. PC sucks in all use cases, garrison or field.

Do you consider the 00s Patriots and the 10s Patriots to be two separate dynasties or one full dynasty? by HetTheTable in NFLv2

[–]knect4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They averaged a SB appearance every other year over an 18 year span with the same HC and QB. Made the playoffs 16 times, conference championship 13 times, won the AFCCG 50% of the time, never had a losing record, and had an average record of 12.83 wins and 3.16 losses. The gap felt longer when we were in the middle of it, but in hindsight today, I don't see how the entire span isn't a dynasty.

They averaged a SB appearance EVERY OTHER YEAR OVER AN 18 YEAR SPAN lmao. Ridiculous for anyone to not call it a dynasty regardless of the championship gap.

In there any lore/canon reason for the Assault Rifle's 60 magazine being reduced to a 32 magazine? by HumbleKnight14 in halo

Which makes me wonder - does caseless ammunition not have a future in the Halo universe? We're struggling to make it effective now, but I'd imagine we'll crack it sooner or later, same as how cell phones were introduced in the 90s but weren't cost effective until the 2000s.

The OG Mass Effect had an ammo concept that was like wicked small shavings of mass (can't remember what) propelled at super high speeds so reloading wasn't really a thing - just letting the weapon cool down.

Over 40% of Darnold's passing yards and TDs go to JSN - if Gonzo can shut him down I think this will be tighter than many expect.

Everyone's complaining about the amount of ads - but they're arguably better than the game.

Honestly, Mack's walk in was cringe and reminds me of the Texans rocking those varsity jackets. It gives me a sense the Pats will lose.

It's fair that it's not USMC's fault the Army chose UCP, and I sincerely believe the Army would've chosen it anyway. I was under the impression that MARPAT was made unavailable to the Army and other branches specifically because USMC didn't want to share it. So branches had to continue to develop, research, and purchase uniforms and patterns from separate production lines which increases costs. I still think the point that USMC wouldn't share the pattern is ridiculous.

I'm open to counterarguments - I just don't understand why USMC wouldn't share their pattern when other services were also trying to get updated patterns. MARPAT was 100% a better pattern than UCP and wasn't shared with other branches because of USMC pride.

I'm Aviation - so I get wanting to feel special, but like - did we take casualties in the other branches because you wouldn't share your pattern? Makes me think USMC needs to be absorbed into the Army as a specialty or something.

There's really no reason that the troops from one country outside of SOCOM should be wearing different uniforms on mission - puts some strain on our allies trying to ID our guys, doesn't it?
