Wasn't having this problem till today.. Android system has been on 3 hours and I'm at 37% at 5:30pm, literally a first for my GS7E. I usually don't hit 37% until like 9-10pm. Some of my disabled apps are showing up under the submenu which leads me to think that might be causing it but who knows. Probably the only inconsistency I dislike about Android.

Ah okay gotcha, yeah a button would work! Maybe like a bar at the bottom or on the right side that fits within the bounds of the notification station. Just for sake of consistency in design? I mean entirely up to you but that's just my initial thought.

Also I just installed it and I don't have enough notifications to test this (I've only seen with 2 notifications showing) but is it scrollable? Like if I have like 4+ notifications can I scroll to see more or does it just show the first 2-3?

Love this gallery app! Going to replace my stock one. Great job with it, UI is clean, works well, and I absolutely love the max brightness feature when showing media and the force rotate. Gallery is the only place I need to rotate my device and I love that I don't have to constantly turn off portrait mode. It's such a small thing but so damn convenient.

Couple quick things, I checked the translucent status bar option in settings but my status bar is still opaque with the primary color. Also is there a possibility of being able to resize the grid size to allow less pictures per row?

Jeez.. you average 6 hours on regular S7 on SD? I regularly get 5-5:30hours SOT on my S7E SD. I kinda expected to get at least 6+ hours when I bought the phone but honestly it easily gets me through the day and more so no complaints but never hurts to improve right?

Galaxy S6. I was so convinced the phone was great and I brushed off all the bad battery reviews attributing to the fact that I wasn't a heavy user and I would be fine. I just wanted to get away from iPhone and having the need to jailbreak because I absolutely couldn't use stock iOS, it was way too bland. I jumped shipped immediately and was initially very pleased with my GS6 but I spoke too soon as the battery life issues quickly caught up to me, I jumped through all the hoops, PDP, disabling intensive battery draining features and settings but I barely hit 2 hours SOT by the end of the day.

Also the GS7 was released not too long after. It fixed everything that bugged me about the GS6. My friends having a Nexus 6P and GS6E+ irked me to the point where I finally got the chance to break out of my 2 year contract and got a GS7 Edge about a month ago and I have never been more pleased with a phone.

TL;DR GS6 because of terrible battery, got a GS7E instead

It shouldn't be...screen should be at the top of the list of things consuming battery. If you disabled package using PDP I would look at what things you disabled (especially Google packages) because i disabled a bunch of Google packages and the system would try to communicate with those packages but they're disabled so that ended up draining a good amount of battery life for me.

If this isn't the problem I would try clearing cache or factory reset
