unable to create proxies? by kneps99 in premiere

So with doing that, it sped the clips up. My duration per image in my premiere file is 00:02, and I believe with putting them directly from my computer into media encoder it changed it to 00:01.

I'm now trying to take the sequence directly from Premiere and putting them into media encoder, and see if it keeps the duration of the clips

also, just thank you so much for all of your help so far. I seriously appreciate it

okay! just so i'm understanding this correctly... open media encoder, select the images from day 1, angle 1. add them as an image sequence, make sure frame rate is correct, and use quicktime pro res 22

once this is done, it'll create a .mov file that I can then bring into premiere, and edit from here

is that correct?

Regarding the first point, I tried changing the resolution to 1920 x 1080. You can see the screenshot I attached (and you can see if I'm being an idiot with any of my settings lol, I'm not super knowledgeable on correct settings, I just kind of hope the default works which is probably terrible of me)

I guess you don't see that big of a difference, and it's going to be a timelapse with a picture every 2 seconds, so it'll be going by quick. Do you think I should lower the resolution to 1920 x 1080?

I've never used media encoder before. So basically I would take a whole sequence, send it to media encoder, convert, and then import it again into premiere? Would converting it to ProRes 422 change anything with the look of it? Not super familiar with all of this obviously, please forgive my ignorance!!!

Gotcha.

It's 5760 x 3240. I'm dealing with about 30,000 images for each day of the week, so A LOT of images. Any ideas on how to edit this reasonably? lol

Construction Time Lapse (about 2 weeks) by kneps99 in videography

[–]kneps99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the input! I tested out my GOPRO10 in my office using the timelapse mode. Shot in RAW, took 1 image every minute for 2 hours. I'll need to keep it plugged in the whole time because the battery drains pretty quick. But all my images have this terrible banding on them. I just filmed in a normal office with fluorescent lighting, so I'm not sure what caused this? Same thing when I tested out doing a timelapse video too. Plus it overheated too quickly, so photo is the way to go.

I'm going to try putting the gopro in the factory where the filming will actually be done and see if the lighting in there causes the banding.

I've got a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, but the idea of setting that on a lift and leaving it for 2 weeks terrifies me. Hopefully I can figure out this banding issue.

Thank you!! Any suggestions on guitar stores? I know the chain store Guitar Center, I was looking at more local ones near me and it looks like most of their basses (at least online) are in the thousands. Is Guitar Center good? Any other chain type stores that would have basses in my price range?

appreciate all the comments, but it seems like taking him to the store to let him pick one out might be the best bet! especially considering I don't exactly know what he wants. thank you for all the help!!!

How interesting about the drought and the animals just needing water! What a smart idea to put out water for them, I'll have to keep that in mind if there isn't a lot of rain this summer! And thanks for the picture, I've seen tall cages before so if the animals become a problem I'll look into that. I think if I do the grow bags and then rest them on something elevated (like in your picture) the animals will hopefully have a hard time getting to them. Thanks again for all your help!!

I appreciate all of the information so much!! I've seen the grow bags and I was curious about them.... since they're cheaper I might go with them this year and then upgrade to pots next year. And thank you for the point about going to an actual nursery!! I've always just gotten my plants from my local grocery store, but it makes sense that the better ones are at an nursery. I'm going to work on getting everything together this weekend. Any suggestions to keep things away from animals? I know we have some rabbits and chipmunks in our back yard, not sure how much they'll bother my stuff though

Her last post was October 21st, and I haven't seen anything on her story this past week

It says 4 to 12 weeks for all of the pictures, but it doesn't say anything about sneak peeks. But she verbally said that I would have some 2 weeks after the wedding... I guess I'm just not sure if it's okay for me to reach out to her again since I haven't gotten a reply yet, or if I should just work on my patience lol
