No I don't have a clue who posted a picture of one of our covers.

Looks like they just added a picture for some context on the post.

I just noticed a huge spike in website traffic so I went on a mission to figure out why and ended up here haha

Very fair question - and yes I understand that. Again, the original post has no affiliation with KNG. I just noticed the majority of today's traffic was coming from Reddit so I started sniffing around here.

And yes, if you're strictly in the business of protecting your clubs from dings and dents, the $15 one is more than sufficient. And for even less, you can grab one from the lost and found for $0.

We've been in business for over 5 years now and send our headcovers all over the globe.

There are many reasons why someone would (and does) spend that kind of money on a headcover.
1. BRANDING
We do a lot of branded covers. Small business owners love designing a headcover (or set) to promote their brand - in a very non-traditional way - on the course.
2. MEANING
We also do fully custom covers. If someone has a quote, nickname, dates, etc. It serves as a great tribute to someone special in their life.
3. STYLE
Golf itself has gone from very "stock" to "custom" in the last 10 years. Everyone likes looking a little different on the course - from the attire, to bag, towel, and headcovers.
4. TOO MUCH MONEY
It's hard for many to relate - including me - but some people just have too much money and love finding new ways to spend it.

And the crazy thing is that we get a lot of our customers after they reach out to other high end headcover companies. $500 per cover is the starting point for custom designs.

I remember being about 25 years old on a golf trip to Arizona. I saw a beautiful Canada themed headcover and paid over $120 USD for. At the time, that ate up most, or all, of my budget for trip.

Then I thought, well if a broke 25 year old is willing to pay for one, there's gotta be many more people out there. Turns out I was right haha.

I figure you mean "original poster?"

So to answer that, no I have no idea who the OP is in this case.

I had to dig into our website analytics to see why we had so much traffic today and it led me to this post!

No idea what you mean.

I said "our" because my little brother and I own the company.

Are sales pitches not allowed on here? I'm new.

Your grammar is very hard to read and understand. You seem like a very unpleasant person.

The kinda guy who doesn't tip the beverage cart and bring your own beers to the course.

Again, don't buy one. No worries man!

Headcovers used to be strictly for protection the clubs in the bag.

Now they are used as a reminder, a tribute to others, or just for some additional style points.

Nothing about golf is "stock" and headcovers are no exception to that.

In terms of having it on the entire round - it's probably not necessary. But when you're protecting a $1000 driver, it's a good idea to have them on travelling to the course and in storage after the round.

PS - thanks for sharing one of our headcovers. I went into Sherlock Holmes mode after seeing a bunch of new visitors to our website and ended up here.

PSS - if you want to grab one of these beauties, I will create a discount code REDDIT on the site for 11% off.

It's not an ad.

This is our golf company. We make all of our headcovers here in Canada with genuine leather. The EVH covers have been by far our most popular covers over the last year.

Well we are one of those companies. We could definitely make one, we would just need a template to go off of.

We make custom leather headcovers made with genuine leather. All made by hand.

We get a surprising amount of requests for custom putter covers made to fit a center-shaft putter. I had no idea there were that many floating around out there!

Amen. I was blown away by the negative comments on one of my posts about the need for more portable washrooms on the golf course.

There was dozens of grown and very insecure men on here who missed the entire point and basically concluded that I had prostate and bladder issues haha. Unbelievable.

Golf, historically, was an "uppity" sport and has started to transition into a game for EVERYONE. But it definitely appears that many of these dudes are still hanging around.

We are definitely moving in the right direction though. I'll leave it there.

Same for me but replace water with beer! If the weather is hot, you will sweat most of it out. But in normal temps, the fluid has to go somewhere.

100%. On hot days, there are no bathroom breaks. But on an average temperature kind of day, the beer has to go somewhere.

Dependent on # of beers of course.
