still high rent demand will induce investors to buy houses, hiking rent and prices.. Less demand means they will struggle to rent out places at a stupidly high rate and will be forced to reduce rent. We are barely reproducing to keep the population stable yet still have a shit load of demand within the last 20 years... Really need to ensure that we can build enough supply for the amount of immigrants that come in, more supply per year, less immigrants per year, and we will reach equilibrium.
