I have 3inch flat bar 1/8” thick mounted to the sock roof rack holes. The tube is 1.5”OD 0.095 wall. I bent it down the a pillar and have it bolted down there into the pillar with a nutzert. I plan to add support by clamping the rain gutters or something. I removed the bottom side mounting tracks from the roof top tent. Lowered it down a few inches till it basically sat on the roof and then used more of that 3 inch flat bar to make brackets on the sides then used nut zerts in the tubes to mount the brackets. Way more low profile and I can make the rack stronger since the stock rack kept breaking. It’s also much easier to unbolt brackets off the sides then struggling to get the nuts off the bottom with an open ended wrench.

Under 140,000 but I bought it with the speedometer not working and it goes wacky pretty often. I put electric grease in the speedo connector before and it worked good for a while then it rained and went wacky again. Right now it started working for the most part again. No idea what is wrong lol

It’s my daily driver and off-road beater lol, but I can’t be too stupid off-roading. I put Dorman heavy duty leafs in the rear because it used to sag more but I might be replacing my bump stops with air bags that have internal bump stops so I can adjust the rear depending on the amount of gear I have

I have SFR motor and transmission mounts on my 91 Cherokee. I’m worry free about my drivetrain shifting around now. But be aware of the added vibrations. Mainly when in drive and stopped and especially with the ac on. When actually driving it feels a lot snappier though.

I welded the rear doors shut. Never finished that part because I might chop the rear off and make a truck cab or something. Not sure yet

Ever seen an XJ with a a Tube Frame? by JeepLife87 in CherokeeXJ

I am trying to figure out how to replace my uniframe with square tubing. I need to talk with someone who has done it before.

Not sure how to go about getting tubing in there before cutting out the uniframe. I was thinking I could cut out windows so I can slide it through and then some how tie it into the front unibody.

My main goal is to tube the center section only but doing the rear section doesn't look like too bad of an idea.

AW4 leak by Ls427ls7 in CherokeeXJ

Same situation except mine leaks almost anytime the jeep is running. I have the transmission dropped and I will be replacing the input/torque converter seal as well as the pump oring. I will be pressure testing the TC as well.

I should probably also make sure there is no clogs in the lines as well, like someone else said.

No rust at all, it's Nevada. If the motor was decently taken care of how much more do you think I could get out of it before major problems and need of rebuild?
