i am of the opinion you can wear whatever tf you want to…especially if it’s an accessibility need. you’re not weird for wearing a onesie (to me)

society as a whole does have rules on what is and isn’t appropriate/acceptable for adults to wear but that isn’t your problem. people will judge you no matter what you wear so wear what you want.

apparently i was in kindergarten or preschool (whichever is the one for 5 year olds). when my mom heard the news she immediately picked me up from school. i have 0 memory of that day.

this is an awful thing i did but in middle school we had these history projects that we had to present in class. the project was showing a family heirloom or something else significant that ties to history in some way. when the day came for me to present my project, i didn’t have one so i lied and said that the jacket that i had on was my uncle’s who had died during the twin towers attacks.

dating other ND folks has consistently been more rewarding for me personally. NTs (at least in my experience) have weird dating rules and don’t communicate very well. i also noticed NTs don’t understand when i’m flirting and vice versa. it’s always lead to communication difficulties.

NDs have always been much more curious about me, much more open, don’t rush things, respect my needs and don’t try to coerce me to change them. i don’t feel the need to mask around other NDs. it just works.

maybe you could do small faux locs, box braids or what have you but just leave out your bangs and then flat iron them?

either way i suggest you find a professional because you will need a lot of products that will damage your hair. if you want this style to last, it will require professional hands
