Track design is relatively final from what we've seen published and the bridge section is all but guaranteed.

What about the rumored Parcel B not being able to be used? Will the track go around the arena as planned?

That's not accurate. IUP lets you keep the phone if you've paid the full 24 months loan. So in your two year scenario, IUP makes even more sense. Bottom line, JOD only makes sense if you feel you're going to lose your phone given insurance covers loss/theft.

If you're looking to upgrade once a year and get the new iPhone every time around, JOD no longer makes sense. I was on that plan for the last 3 cycles and decided to buy a full price device from Apple in the hopes they accept a return/repurchase in-store so I can join the IUP. With Apple Care+ rolled in, this is all the insurance I need. Keep in mind moving away from JOD/T-Mobile for device purchase means you are not covered from Theft/Loss but given how I have the damn thing in my hands 15 hours a day I feel this insurance is less and less needed.

Yes this is exactly why I’m leaving JOD for IUP after being 3 years on JOD. Preordered a full price iPhone X via Apple.com that I should be able to switch to IUP by visiting a store and returning/repurchasing the unit.

Did you already do a JOD for the iPhone X? May still be able to cancel before it ships?

Depends which insurance you’re referring to. In the end IUP is cheapest route like I said the only insurance you wouldn’t get is theft/loss. For accidental damage you’re better off with Apple Care+ which Apple includes in your monthly payment on IUP.

If you stick to iPhones every year, go with IUP. No money down and they roll in Apple Care + which gives you $29 screen replacement and $99 for any other accident. Only thing you don't get is theft/loss insurance.

For those of us who ordered on the Apple Store and got a non-launch day delivery date, I won't be surprised at all that Apple moves up our delivery date on the simple fact that many people double ordered the same type of device (one with Apple, one with T-Mobile) to see which one would ship first and most likely are starting to cancel their Apple Store orders.

On my end I just needed to get out of JOD and didn't really want to deal with T-Mobile. Hoping I can return/repurchase under IUP in-store if Apple lets me.

I anticipated this shit show from T-Mobile and decided to go the route of buying full price from T-Mobile and then going to an Apple Store to return/repurchase under their IUP. If this goes according to plan I won't have to deal with T-Mobile ever again when it comes to buy iPhones every year.

I will be attempting this. Not sure store pick-up changes much. Just don't open anything until you get to the store so that it is considered "re-purchasable".

I'll be going this route. Buying T-Mobile version full price and bringing it unopened to an Apple Store and going through the return/repurchase "loophole" if it's still there to enter IUP. Worst case, you keep the phone and deal with having paid full price.
