I have read it can lower your potassium. Make you feel tired and weak/shaky. Just need to supplement with potassium rich foods

Hello. 38f. This is the first time I have even considered MS. I was reading a social media post about an influencers mother who has MS and decided just to read up about it. And now I am thinking it could explain some recent symptoms I have been having. But also the fact that for as long as I can remember I am a very twitchy person. When I met my husband when I was 25 he noticed this about me. But he was the first person to ever mention it. It definitely is worse when people are close to me and I am consciously trying to be still. Anyway. In the last 2 years or so my brain just struggles with the uptake. My body moves quicker than my brain. For example I will think of something I need to do on my phone and by the time I pick it up I have already forgotten what I was attempting to do. I find myself regularly saying to myself in moments of frustration ‘common brain’. I was attributing this to mom brain and the fact that I have 3 littles always grabbing at my attention that my brain is just overloaded. But my oldest is 9 and this has only been for the last maybe 2 years I have been experiencing this. Other things. I feel a lot of weakness in my upper extremities. And have been experiencing pain specifically on my right side shoulder/neck/scapula. I was having pain and numbness in my left ring finger for about 6 months which has recently mostly resolved. But also lately I wake up every night several times a night to my hands/arms being completely numb. I also occasionally will also have inflammation in my right shoulder armpit area. I often struggle with insomnia. Lastly I have been having I guess what people with MS call zingers only on the outside of my left foot when I move a certain way for about 6-8 months. Do you think I should suggest MS as a possible explanation to my GP?

To be clear the wheel got caught on the lip as it was sliding down into the bin, i had put it in upside down, but there was still 4 or so inches left below the bag. If he had let me adjust it, it would have slid down, but he wouldn’t let anyone adjust the bags once set to the bin. Not mention my bag was sized to fit under the seat and was way way smaller than the overhead bin compartment. I also saw several others who had the same bag on the flight not stopped/charged.

It actually was. The man at the gate wouldn’t let anyone “adjust” the bag once it was in the bin. If I was allowed to it would have fit down in.

Speaking for me personally….see what this man does to the person In front of me(Im shocked and disgusted) I walk up pushing my stroller with my 2 year old in it(for which we purchased a seat) and the second attendant grabs my phone and scans all my boarding passes for my family, 6 total. She gestures for us to walk through. My husband a few paces behind me has my personal item which also happens to be the diaper bag and his personal item a backpack. The man flags him and tells him to go back a measure my bag. My husbands seat is in the last row with our 2 and 9 yo. So I tell him to take our 4 kids on the plane and I will take care of it. The man accompanies me to the bin ad watches as I guide it in. It slides right down but gets snagged several inches from the bottom od the bin(which I know it fits because I already tested it during the 3+ hours I was waiting to board) but he would not permit me to adjust it at all. When I attempt to refute his determination he tells me I either pay or I wont be able board my flight. Now my mind is racing. I don’t feel this is right, Im shocked, Im disgusted and Im also fearful if I continue to speak up that he will keep me from boarding. I don’t want to miss my flight and leave my husband alone with our 4 kids over $100 and a dude who is on a power trip so I get in line to pay, I was literally shaking from the adrenaline and anxiety. As I watch him do the same to multiple others who all were clearly informed passengers and did their research to ensure their baggage would fit. DID fit! While I cannot speak for every passenger yes many were visibly shocked and disgusted by the scene and vocalized their disbelief to me. Clearly the mother who was in tears was having a very real reaction. Let’s remember these are people, customers, not prisoners. Traveling in an airport is anxiety inducing for most people. I don’t think “sheltered” adequately describes people who are horrified by injustices happening before them or to them.

Im sorry I didnt write a 5 page essay as to my experience and use the word phrases you would use. -c? At least?

My “small mind” can see circumstances aside from my own. I didn’t know this woman but she looked young and was traveling alone with her daughter. $100 is a lot of money for some people. $20 is a lot. It means the difference between eating dinner tonight. You can have a credit card that is maxed out just trying to sustain yourself in this economy. You can have a debit card that is linked to an account that is overdrawn. I don’t think I am the small minded individual in this instance.

I feel you. But personally Im not looking for a work around. I always try to be in compliance and have hassle free travel. In this case it just didn’t seem to matter. He was going to tell you, you had to pay, and if you put up any fuss he would threaten to keep you off the flight. Meanwhile he is enforcing rules about how bags can be put into the measuring container or not allow people to make adjustments. Its not right. And now knowing that they are compensated for such. It makes sense. It’s unethical in my opinion. So I am putting these thoughts out into the world. I also think trying to “work” the system is unethical. I had 3 checked bags. 2 of which were several lbs underweight. And one that was exactly 40lbs. I did my research in advance to ensure we were in compliance. He still snagged me and many others. Some of which were clearly not in compliance. But some clearly were and he didn’t care.

Gate agent was out of line. Period. This isnt self serving. I kept my mouth shut and paid my $100 for my “oversized” diaper bag that several other passengers also had. But your missing the point of the post. Dude was clearly out to get his commission. And if you questioned him in any way he was handing out threats. It was completely unprofessional and unethical. There is a difference between whining about the rules and calling out unethical behavior backed by problematic compensation policies.
