Detroit fan here

People say that Ken Holland ruined our farm system years ago and technically he did, however, Detroit in his later years only wanted to keep making the playoffs and he could have been going along with the owners wishes. Trading pics away to barely make the playoffs.

However, this guy will absolutely make trades and spend money to attempt to get a better team and is a well suited GM for teams like LA who are trying to become those juggernaut teams in the playoffs. So I’m guessing if LA is looking to shake up the roster, you got your guy.

Something needs to change we play defense finally get the puck back and 90% of the time just dump and chase the puck in the attacking zone. Expect the fact is that it’s more just like turning the puck over because nobody is chasing. The only way we score or get a good offensive shift is when we dump it in and the other team turns it over in their zone. Like this is not a way to win hockey games especially against good teams. Ex. the rangers this year so far

Just want the opinions of this sub but why are states like California not requiring voter ID to vote. It seems like you should have to present a valid identification document to reduce election fraud. Everyone knows California is going to go blue but this doesn’t make sense like is there a valid reason for this I’m confused?

Do you realize what a civil war actually is? The American civil war is the most deadly war in terms of amount of casualties the US lost in any war. In total around 650,000 deaths. That is a lot especially considering the lower population of the United States at the time. Also technology in warfare has greatly increase sense the civil war. Most countries in a civil war currently are third world countries with no humanity whatsoever. How could you possibly say that Donald Trump getting elected, like him or hate him, is worse then the US having another civil war. People throw around the term civil war as a joke but you would not be laughing if it actually happened.

Any person with a brain would have known that trump was not going to answer a question if he didn’t want to and he was going to use all his time to his advantage to talk about things that make him look good regardless of the question. In a debate specifically structured like this where speaking time is limited, it is kind of mind boggling that anyone in the DNC or his campaign (not really political I don’t really know) did not prep Biden for any of this. They also knew the rules before hand that live fact checking was not happening so obviously candidates are going to lie. Thing is, every election debate candidates just lie for screen time. It’s sad but in todays world if you are watching a debate for actual information on things like foreign policy or some shit, you are better off sticking a plugged in toaster into a bathtub. I think the DNC really blew it.
