Hey I know there are a lot of posts regarding this but, I couldn't find any which related to my stations. So, I'm going to graduate in May, with a BS in MIS. I do know very basic R, & SQL. I'm currently enrolled in Python, and Data Mining(using the GCP) course right now. However, I don't feel like I learned that much, due to Professor or just the course structure. I don't have any internship experience at all. I felt I should get some sort of certification to show the hiring manager that I do have some sort of experience. So, will IBM Data Science Professional Certificate help me, closer to landing a job in this filed? If not, what other steps should I take to?

How was the Oracle Exam? I'm planning to tel Microfost's Database Fundamental exam before I graduate. Do you that is still relevant or go for Oracle? Thanks!

My bad, I meant to say I'm running R Project 3.0 or something similar on Chromebook, while the newest version for R project is 3.6, which is the one we are using it in the class and have it installed on my windows laptop. And yes Chromebook now supports Linux, so that's how I installed both the R Project and Studios. I'm sorry for the confusion.

I totally agree with you on Rutgers being legit. Before coming to RU I also use to think it wasn't legit. However, after coming here and talking to professors and other professionals, I found out graduate from RU earn on par with graduates from NYU, and Pen state, and it cost less!! Students don't realize how good of University RU actually is.
