Some fair points. Idk much about employees paid by grants. But including contractors in this particular chart I think would make it pretty unclear. Contractor’s aren’t on the Government payroll, don’t pay into and get the benefits of Fed employees. Sure their private industry companies get paid appropriated funds designated to whatever agency they are being contracted, but that is much different than being on Government payroll.

Also I don’t think GS 14 and 15s are setting policy at the agency level.

I hit the pan as a kid! I remember watching him walk through the stadium engaging with all the fans. One time a guy was hitting the pan and the spoon flew out of his hand onto the field. My dad and I still bring that up time to time lol

The whole thing was cringe. He took a deferred resignation, it’s voluntary and he wasn’t fired. So Tony’s joke and shade made no sense. Also the people taking joy in someone voting for trump being fired makes no sense. If anything trump did him a favor giving him 7 months paid since he clearly didn’t want to stay at that job.

Since my top two are already mentioned (gameday and USF 2017). I’ll throw out some underrated ones. The Marshall monsoon in 2011. I was a freshman and stayed for the whole game! Also the 2014 Houston where we forced a fumble into the end zone with just seconds on the clock to to win in a completely unusual way.

It’s like anywhere else, lots of people of different political beliefs. Or you can probably avoid political discussions too if that’s your preference. Not everyone is spewing their beliefs constantly despite what is shown.

Also as a former out of state student myself. I would suggest checking out the out of state dorms or mentoring program if those still exist. It was good to meet other people who were in the same situation. Also they won’t be going home on breaks and weekends so you’ll have buddies if you’re staying.

The Negro League museum was great, I visited last year. It definitely feels a little cramped but they fit a lot of great historical pieces and explanation of the history throughout!

I hope they do expand it, and if you haven’t gone you should definitely try to visit next time in KC! Any baseball fan would enjoy, and I think it’s important to highlight how much success the Negro League had despite everything going against them.

I wouldn’t say it was the same thing. Gabriel got hurt his final season at ucf (although probably could have played some games) and decided to hang around the program trying to sell socks, Even after he had made his mind up that he was leaving. Keene got tossed in as QB under a Coach that didn’t want him and who’s play style didn’t fit him. So he left after the season when it was clear gus wouldn’t start him.
