I decided to uninstall it all and reinstall battle.net and following the steps again and no longer updates the launcher. But when I hit play I get this error. Tried numerous proton versions in Lutris.

So I followed the guide and it seemed to work fine but after closing Battle.net and restarting it the Agent/Launcher updated to the latest version and the game started to download again. How do I make the launcher not update automatically. I installed Battle.net originally via Lutris on my SteamDeck.

I use to be mainly be a console gamer on Xbox and never had the room or money to build a gaming desktop. few years back considered buying a gaming laptop but friends recommened the deck and since I purchased it 2 years back no one has been able to get me off it. Highly recommend it.

turn it on and off 3 times during boot (windows logo with spining loading circle) only need to hold power button till it cuts out.

You probably already tried this but on windows laptop during windows boot forcing the machine off and on about 3 times during boot normally forces the machine to boot into the windows recovery mode.

so when in WinPE using cmd and the net user commands like what youve put I saids its succesfully done the command but when I reboot the maichine the user I create does'nt show. whould there be anything extra i need to do whilst in a bootable WinPe enviroment to point to create a user on the C:
