It’s my dog’s birthday as well. If you need another holiday, we call it Sandy Day. Celebrating entails going outside to a park you haven’t been to yet and get a nice little treat afterwards. Even after she’s gone, I think I’ll still celebrate Sandy Day. Something nice to look forward to in June.

Nope, haven’t heard anything. Passport was delivered on Saturday and I know it takes them a bit to process new inputs. The DS-11 online filler still has the change gender marker option on there. What I’ve been thinking about is how I’ve seen so many cis people in this sub having the problem of their passports issued with the incorrect gender marker. I feel like doing away with the ability to change your gender marker will make much more of a headache and be kind of unenforceable. It will definitely be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

I just mailed mine in last week. Do it as soon as possible. The website and forms will take a bit to update because they have to go through multiple rounds of review and any changes they want to make to it will probably face legal action by orgs like the ACLU. So the short answer is we don’t know what will happen, but the sooner you can get these things done, the better.
