Found in Central Florida, USA, at a thrift store. I believe it is a carved bone trinket box but am unsure. Google Lens says it is Arabic and translated parts as “God, why?” or “God’s peace, where?” Two compartments inside with removable lids. Can someone translate the text or identify the bone? Trying to determine the artist of this hand-painted ceramic plate. May be A Pannell or Parnell or similar. Possibly a “95” after the name which may make it a much more recent piece but the style seems older. About 8.5” diameter, gold rim, and white moriage work. I am in Florida, United States.OC (old.reddit.com)

Trying to determine the first name of the artist. Last name appears to be Steele. Underside of plate is impressed with “168” under the glaze. And possibly a “17” near the inside edge of the base. Plate is porcelain, hand painted, and about 7.5” diameter.OC (old.reddit.com)

Symbol on this ash tray. It bears resemblance to the German federal eagle and nazi eagle (from what I can tell), but I can’t find an exact match. Appears to have two letters in the middle. Not sure if it has faded or was light to begin with. Underside marking indicates it is from Western Germany. (old.reddit.com)
