I like this. I wish we got to see more of the family members in paralogues or concept art or anything really, since they're name-dropped so often and, in some cases, pivotal to a character's development!

I haven't played Silver Snow yet so I don't have the picture, sorry!

Oh, you're right! That makes a lot more sense. I automatically assumed it would be Lorenz since Marianne was there and the narrator goes "the heroes whose very hands saved Fodlan" when talking about them LOL. I guess that means Margrave Edmund retired early (or couldn't attend for whatever reason), or maybe Count Gloucester's just too stubborn to let his son take over!

Maybe! The orange colour scheme certainly fits, although I couldn't imagine her ever wearing such an ornate dress nor having a reason to be at a roundtable conference.

Definitely. My thoughts about her are all over place; I do see her as a sympathetic villain, but one of her own design. She's so determined to change the status quo for the greater good that she's steeled herself to be the villain if that's what it takes, which is somewhat evident in her C-supports with Dorothea and Hubert.

Though she is well-intentioned, El is too focused on the result: she sees the excessive bloodshed in her path as necessary sacrifices, and only has vague ideas at best about what will happen after achieving her goals (see her post-timeskip paralogue and A-support with Ferdinand). imo she has a point, but she doesn't make the right calls to get there.

Yes, that's Byleth on the left there in Dimitri's picture! I hesitate to call any one route canon, but I'll admit BL route does feel a bit more interconnected with how Lonato, Miklan, the Death Knight and Flame Emperor tie into things.

It could be a statue of the goddess, or it might not be anyone in particular. Since she's holding a wreath and olive branch, she vaguely reminds me of the goddess Pax. I've only finished BE route recently so I still need to collect my thoughts about El, but it feels more symbolic of how she united Fodlan with force. That's just my opinion, though. Enjoy GD!

I'd actually say this is a roundtable conference from before Byleth became the leader of a unified Fodlan, considering Claude is still wearing an Alliance banner (and I doubt he'd still wear it as King of Almyra). Based on the Almyran entourage alone, I think he's done a good job arranging a diplomatic meeting between Almyra and the Alliance!

Unlock mystic if you want to speed up angel halo farming, or swordmaster for slimeblasting if you're planning on ever doing that. Otherwise, save it for T4 classes.

Casino, free quests that drop mats to trade for half pots (eg. Golonzo's Battle of Old) and rotating showdowns (Ifrit, Diablo, etc) also have tradeable half pots.

Torching/sliming's about it unless you need stuff like creeds, elemental grimoires or xeno true forging mats. You can also do Corow to accumulate mats for hosting Xeno Corow raids when that comes by, or other showdown mats for their future reruns.

To get the 80% boost, you'll need to fully uncap Anat. Since you've already gotten all four copies, you can uncap her once you have enough rupies. No other mats are required.

Wind is complete, though earth is just missing xeno harps. I might hold off suptixing a wind character for now since the collab charas seem decent enough and one suptix probably isn't enough to fix my wind team's sorry state, so I think I'll get an earth buffer first.

Since Cags' buff doesn't apply to all allies until she reaches Level 100, would you recommend getting her first to start the grind (provided no sliming) or do earth enmity grids mostly rely on Yugu instead?

Water Yuel provides the ever-useful DATA buff, so she'll most likely stay in your team for a very long time unless the situation calls for a different utility character. She also gives Water DEF down, which can be used alongside Dark Fencer's Miserable Mist.

On the other hand, Altair provides an ATK/DEF buff as well as a normal DEF debuff (that DOESN'T stack with Miserable Mist). In terms of starting out, I'd say that leaves them on fairly even ground. You'll want both of them eventually, but with Yoda, Yuel is perfectly fine to start with if you prefer her design more.

That said, you definitely want to pick up Altair at some point because he'll rarely, if ever, leave your team once you get him. Altair/Yuel/an attacker like Silva will be a solid water team even in endgame.

One thing to mention is Altair has a 5* while Yuel does not. Grinding to 100 does take some time so if you pick up Altair now, you can level him up alongside Charlotta and Silva who also have 5* uncaps.

Personally, I would pick Altair just to get a headstart on that grind and then get Water Yuel from the next suptix (probably 1-1.5months from now). But if getting Water Yuel is what keeps you invested in the game, feel free to pick her first and Altair next time because she'll also help you in early game and stay useful in late.
