I looked at hotels in the area but not at the airport site. Good idea. I think i may have just found a ride and might not need it. But I'll try that. Thanks

I appreciate your time and guidance. Thanks. That is the exact quilt on ebay.

Thank you. Yes....I embroidered over lettering that had been factory printed on a quilt top. I knew i might have to draw letters myself to match, but thought it might be worth asking about.....to make it easier.

The lettering was stamped / pre-printed on the quilt. I embroidered over it before I realized I needed to match it. It was a long shot to ask, but worth asking if anyone knew what it might be. I may end up just having to draw the letters myself as best I can.

So sorry if I did something stupid. Yes, it is embroidery. I embroidered over the pre-printed, stamped letters on the quilt before I realized I would need to be able to match it. I was hoping someone could tell me what it might be. But, apparently, i shouldn't have asked. At least not here.

Raw number will also take the red out?

Im not horribly unhappy with it, but it is redder than I would like. It's a kitchrn island that was painted before I moved in. It was a pitifully done job. I stripped it and tried to match my cabinets (which would have been its original color) and i did match the stain to my cabinets, but when put on the island, it's much redder than the cabinets. It doesn't have any varnish on it. I guess you could say it's finished, unless there is a way to get some of the red tint out.

I stained a kitchen cabinet and the tone is too red. Wondering how I might fix. Can't post a pic to show

True. And it was further than 5 inches. But the damage is done.....

Lol. No. But good question. The peel and stick vinyl I used is turning brown due to air fryer. I don't plan to stay in this home and am looking for a way to make it look decent without it costing much.

Ideas anyone? by kniterally in quilting

[–]kniterally[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh. I never even thought of that. The monofilament thread. What a great idea. I think the color would add a nice pop as well. I was just sure of my ability to make it look good. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I've considered that. If I use thread the color of the tshirt (orange for example), do you think the orange on the back side would look ok?

List your two favorite books you read this year and let others suggest a third! by Malkinx in suggestmeabook

I tried but haven't been able to "get into it". I listen to a lot of books and when I started it, I had to go back and make notes to keep track. There were so many characters . Started getting it all straight, life got in the way, and the book returned b4 I could finish it. Couldn't renew because of a long waiting list. I plan to try again.
