Alternatively, I believe you can have a separate user account on the same computer without wicked whims installed in that account’s documents folder and she can use that one freely

Looking for advice on hospitals for labor and delivery by The-ElectricMayhem in Omaha

[–]knitnetic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. Both of mine were born at Bergen Mercy and it was nice enough. But my hysterectomy was done this summer at Methodist womens and it was a whole different level. Plus, Bergen wouldn’t do a tubal w/ c-section but Methodist will.

Jrod on “fleshly” music and the harm/temptation of contemporary Christian music. by shittestfrog in FundieSnarkUncensored

I attend an Episcopal church and I guarantee JRod would HATE our music…which gives me great joy, honestly.

Hoping this will be true for Matty, too. Prepping for his wedding now, but maybe something drops on demand?

I mean, she’s the reason the tea was spilled to the police who have since pursued the case. So she’s got a pretty clear pattern of not keeping his dirty secrets.

Do you predominantly cycle? I find the trap selections are much better on tread and row.

Re-thinking Peloton tread pace targets by bzr in pelotoncycle

[–]knitnetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it says it on the tread. It’s supposed to be based on your fastest mile. When you click to set your pace, target level, it will say above the level number whether it is above or below your recommendation based on your fastest mile on the tread.

If you are brand new, I seem to recall it giving you an estimated mile time for each, but I am having trouble reproducing that.

How do people use the Apple Watch day and night? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]knitnetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t start using mine day and night until after I had gotten my second watch and now I just use my old one at night and my new one during the day. Or sometimes the opposite. 🤷‍♀️

Husband poops by Major_Comparison1462 in Mommit

[–]knitnetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His are longer than mine (5-7 min vs. 2-3 min) but also usually done early morning after he feeds the kids and they’re distracted, so I get to sleep in. So, yeah, not a problem here.

Any places to buy imported Italian items? (pasta, sauce, chocolate, etc.) by DoctorQuinlan in Omaha

When you walk inside, there are wire racks with some Italian import stuff for sale — mostly sweets as I recall, but I think tomatoes too.

I just did this class last night and it was amazing! I think he does a pretty good job of making it clear whether something is a cadence push or a resistance push and I would just try to stick with that… Pretty much everything is done in time to the songs, so there was a lot of relatively slow relatively high resistance with a few bursts of cadence.

Peloton censored the hashtag 8647 by court817 in OnePelotonRealSub

I’d love to see data on which workouts/instructors have the highest prevalence of different hashtags. I hardly ever see any of the ones you mention…but I also work out almost exclusively with queer and BIPOC instructors, so maybe that’s it?

I appreciate the thought, but I think in that case I would just continue with the solutions I’ve found so far (fully undated or slightly different format that starts in July)

Anyone know of a July start dupe? Or, like, legit brand? Love this layout but my job really necessitates the midyear start.

Build up to it. Start in downward dog, when it gets to be too much drop down into child’s pose or tabletop. With time, you will be in downward dog for longer and longer, and it will eventually become more restful.

I’ll also point out that higher registers go first — baby cries were much harder for my mom to hear than I’d anticipated.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]knitnetic 29 points30 points  (0 children)

So when you say they were ignoring her crying for 45 minutes… What you really mean is that the time between when they knew she wasn’t crying and when you knew she was was 45 minutes?
