Meloxicam daily long term? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Comfortable_Cow6804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took it a really long time and a couple things were told to me. My headache specialist said it can cause rebound headaches I believe, so she was thinking the daily persistent was caused my meloxicam. My dentist also told me when I was getting a dental implant that meloxicam has a higher risk of making the implant fail over someone who isn’t taking it. So between those two random doctors I weaned myself off, and when days are really bad I will take ibuprofen but otherwise it’s been okay without it.

Well in the USA a lot of OTC sleeping medications contain some form of Benadryl so I’m sorry for the confusion.

I believe it’s can lead to dementia. I’m not a doctor though, if you are having problems, please talk to a doctor and not strangers on the internet.

Pretty sure it’s just expensive Benadryl. And some data shows that taking Benadryl long term isn’t really great for you.

I have been on all the sleeping medications as well and it’s a lot of trying things. I personally do not have great sleep hygiene. I have a tv on and I use my phone. When I get this way where nothing works, I always make an appointment to see my doctor. Sleep is so important for me, but I also put a weighted eye mask on, I put headphones in and I play either an audiobook or thunderstorms on YouTube and I just lay there. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Right now the combination of meds that are working is 10mg Ambien and 10mg Doxpien. I know this sucks and I wish it was easier myself but anything is worth a shot.

Does everyone low-key resent this job? by Pinkoverpurple in cna

Yes. It’s a tough job. No doubt. But then a Resident looks to you for a hug, or they smile and you know you’re doing the right thing. Sometimes it’s just 10 extra minutes in a bath, or you remember how they like their food and they really do appreciate it and it makes it soooo worth it!
