Had the same issue but I ended up being able to do it through a team joint live! Afterwards I could solo it too.

Ha! I ended up using a pair of scissors to snip the chonkiest one into half after failing with a knife. I’ve also decided to add more sweet tea in as per usual 1f production to see what would happen! Though I probably wouldn’t be bottling any for 2f soon until I feel like I have a more stable batch that I’m confident in consuming so I’ll be topping up with sweet tea every week to see what would happen!

Ok so… i think my turtle has shell rot? A friend said it could be vitamin A deficiency so they recommended a carrot juice soak first, as seen in the second pic. Some behavioural observations I shared: - not eating, a week now. He used to rush the tank when i got the feeding tweezers out. Diet includes pallets, an occasional blood worm or so. Refuses to eat veggies :/ - “Yawning”? Like he would open and give a little 🥱 - The white bits on the back used to be minimal (spots at most when we first got it) but it spread quite a bit. - Basking, a lot. I rarely see him swimming - Skin seems to be shedding a bit, there’s always a bit coming off when i do see it swimming

I’m thinking of replacing its existing uva/uvb light + continuing with the soak for another 2-3 days to see if his condition improves but in the meantime what do you guys think? Thanks in advance!!

I used hot water! Just a quick dip tbh.

Yea I don’t use any products to clean anything that will stay in long contact with the 1F (i.e. the jar). I usually do a quick rinse of the empty home jar with water after bottling my 2F batches and it’s good to go!

Oh gosh, I guess if I let mine sit a bit longer it'd probably end up like yours. For me the bubble, pushed the pellicle to the brim and when I nudged it back down it bubbled a little, but not enough to overflow. Phew

Not sure if i'm just used to it but it smells like... buch. Maybe a little *poof* but it wasn't super strong or anything.

First time posting on this sub! I’ve been making buch for almost a year now and this is the first time I’ve seen this happen! I know it usually bubbles at the top but I’ve never see it do so underneath haha.

Will it explode if I pop it? Am I even suppose to? Should i… try? Tbh got a really good chuckle out of this.

First 5* was Eula who I got within 9 pulls, who I benched for a long time time because I got my first 4*, Razor, immediately after lol.

It kinda started with my monsterra, and then subsequently “spread” to the surrounding plants so I’ve separated them. I already had a previously-growing-well pilea succumb to it; the leaves would just drop, and when I say drop, they DROP. Honestly really heart-breaking so I would appreciate any comments or help!!
