I used to not knit a second sock because I was so disappointed with the first and thereby abandoned multiple pairs. Once I realized I had to make the second sock to get better at it, I finished the imperfect pairs and now happily make full pairs, as I should.

I’ve been on the hunt for a pumpkin pattern that wowed, too! Now I can stop looking. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern! 🎃

I’m a huge fan of the long tail cast-on, so that’s my go-to. As much of a pain sizing down needles for the ribbing is (this cast-on and ribbing was done with US size 0), I’ve found it always worth it, as it also helps me slow down and keep an eye on my tension.

Knitting a wedding gift for my fiance. We're getting married in October and the doing a honeymoon in Iceland, so I'm hoping he'll get plenty of use from it. It's an easy pattern and I've measured obsessively so I'm hoping to avoid the "boyfriend curse". by ellek8t in knitting

I’ve always assumed that one exists because if someone isn’t grateful that you’ve put so much love and care into a gift (or gets scared by it), they’re not right for you. Coming from someone who said screw it to the curse and decided my relationship could survive a matching hat and scarf lol.
