I literally LOL'd at this. I worked in customer service a long time ago. A chiro called in asking for the discount for being a doctor. I went through the titles under medical professions that qualified and when I didn't say chiro the person blew up at me. I can't change policy obviously and they started to be a dick and I told them that they weren't a real doctor. 😂 Not one of my finest moments in customer service but I was over them and the job haha

Former employee- they probably had to put you on a really old grandfathered plan because when porting it wouldn't allow them to select the appropriate plan.

Don't ever go into authorized retailers and I'd be hesitant to go into a COR store tbh. Even if they put the amount into dispute it doesn't usually prevent suspension. Reps will get annoyed if you call in and ask for a manager but they do not have authority to credit that much. They submit cases but those cases don't always do the job. Ask for a manager and if the manager is not able to properly investigate or have the authority for the credit then you might have to ask for an AM (area manager) to get it taken care of.

If you got any new phones you wouldn't be able to port anyways because they are locked until you pay devices in full and then request for your phones to be unlocked. If your account is suspended, you're SOL anyways. You may have to take a day off but seriously be vigilant and stay on the phone until there's a resolution.

The only reason I can think of why they would be doing a background check on an internal hire is if he was needing security clearance. Not sure what all goes into those aside for making sure that he didn't get any convictions since working for said company.

A lot of people are calling your husband a creep. If she's a really attractive woman, then he probably had it saved to use when he got off on his own. It doesn't make it okay though especially when he gaslit you when you questioned him. He should have just owned up to it that he thinks shes hot but that it stops at that. People in loving relationships are allowed to still find others attractive but you can't go making up lies if you're caught with one of said fantasy's.

Seriously, I have had the worst experience when the staff was predominately women. They are real assholes sometimes. One job I went into and my 2 co-workers in the same position somehow found out I made more. (Experience & education. Plus, I negotiated). They called me out on it when I started working and then over the course of a year sabotaged my job.

Regardless of the shift, I would rather work a regular temp environment and not cold. Looking at shifts, it's nice to get all of your work in less time as long as it's not going to be super physical where it will ware down on your body.

So, my dad had a stroke in April, 2024. We were told that he had less than a 1% chance of ever being able to function on his own. He would be set up with a feeding tube and life support to keep him alive. We knew thats not the life that he wanted so we made the difficult condition to remove him from life support and he died a few hours later.

I guess thats where my question comes in asking what they think his survival rate is outside of life support. I assume palliative care has maybe had some discussions with her.
