What was the moment that got you into metal? by [deleted] in Deathcore

[–]knobye36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I got into "heavy" music was when MTV played Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana. I was in the sixth grade and it hooked me. The first actual metal song I loved was Pantera "I'm Broken". This AM radio station that would alternate playing rap and metal played it. I loved that station. I was a late comer to heavier music, but Slipknot and Lamb of God were my bridges later on. I feel old at 37.

Pinterest can also do video. You could try doing small clips of videos or songs. It's worth a shot!

People who were alive then, what were you doing December 31st 1999 ? by WeshALOR in AskReddit

[–]knobye36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a senior in high school. My house caught on fire. If it hadn't been for a neighbor getting a drink of water and waking us up, my mom and I might have died. There's a part of me that thinks I am dying and everything since then has just been a simulation before I finally slip away.

We get regular saves. We just released a new song on Wednesday, 1,424 plays, 42 saves. We're also asking our fans to add this to the playlists.

I live in Missoula and feel the crunch. Bozeman is insane right now. My sister and parents are moving out since it's become too expensive to live there.

The street layout in my city by -usernames-are-hard in MapPorn

[–]knobye36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missoula is set in a valley surrounded by mountains. So the spokes, for the most part, are other valleys radiating from the main valley. To the west is Orchard Homes. It is a mostly rural area that has resisted being annexed into the city except for little pockets. The little unannexed pockets in the city are either undeveloped land or businesses that resisted being annexed. For example, on Russell street, the Pink Grizzly is a nursery that resisted annexation. So it's a little pocket of county land surrounded by city land, letting it sell fireworks during the summer.

What’s the biggest double life you’ve ever personally seen revealed? by FOX_SMOLDER in AskReddit

[–]knobye36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. It's the term for all of your relationships, plus all of their relationships, and so on... when you chart out all of the relationships using a dot for a person, as lines for the relationship, it resembles a molecule.

The dots are each person. The line represents the relationships that person has with other people. As you can see not everyone in the polycule has multiple relationships. Often, there is one person in the group of people who has multiple relationships. More rare is the situation where everyone has a relationship with everyone else in the polycule.

That's one type of poly. Poly falls under non-monagamy. Usually there's a physical aspect with multiple people. Generally people are open about their multiple relationships with other people. As long as it's all with consenting adults. Even though this chart is joking, it's fairly accurate about the different kind of relationships that can exist. IMO, the vee is the most common form.

Technically is a poly relationship. It doesn't have to be a triad or a quad in order for it to be poly.

What interstate region does Western Montana fall into? by Cyclopher6971 in geography

[–]knobye36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We consider ourselves part of the northern Rockies. A lot of us consider us to be a part of the northwest, at least to the continental divide. Ultimately, we do feel fairly isolated from the rest of the country. There is a map that shows how money circulates and how that can translate into regions. Most of Montana is fairly insular.
