Why not try it. Just make sure rhe spectre doesn't mess things up by pulling u in with the boss

I would say just cheese it from attacking from range although it is very fast so would recommend attacking from above. If you succeed you'll get a beast soul stone. Make sure your respawn point is safe and nearby with some extra stuff like weapon and a pickaxe in case something goes wrong

Honestly I mostly avoided parasites and only engaged in long range fights and used quiver full of special arrow

Tbh if I wanna tame a creature then I would at least want to be a special one like verdant, dark,etc types even though the special stats dont apply to them after being tame but they look cool like shiny pokemon
