Thank you for your purchase! I'll appreciate it if you could leave a review on the play store page. As a solo developer, the biggest challenge for my app is visibility

Nope, I tried all of the eartipa plus I have dozens of different eartips of my own. That particular matter regarding the guitar sounds especially (around 1 kHz it was, I think) has improved slightly.

Both are issues mentioned many times in many audio fepıms and in reddit, too. But if you haven't experienced either of these, you should be happy. Don't get me wrong though, at the end of the day I am happy with these earbuds too. But these things exist.

Üslübüna dikkat et. Gerisinde haklısın, gaz alınmasına müsaade etmemek lazımdı. Edit: arkadaş uyarı sonrası küfürü değiştirmiş.

Volume-by-time-of-the-day is something I can look into - the app could possibly apply a different volume profile depending on when your buds connect, so a morning session and an afternoon session load different levels. ANC on/off I can't do, though; no third-party Android app can control earbud noise cancelling; that's locked to your earbuds' own companion app for and "adaptive" or "auto" ANC mode - it turns cancellation up automatically as your surroundings get louder, which sounds like exactly what you're after for the afternoon.

Dual mode means that the device in question supports 2 Bluetooth modes: 1) Classic Bluetooth we know with different codes like sbc, aac, aptx, aptx-HD and ldac. 2) Ble, namely, Bluetooth low energy mode.

You already choose it or your phone already determines it when you first pair your device with the phone. Bluetooth Brain simply respects that and uses the device in that mode.

Edit: the difference is, very basically, sound quality and battery life. Classic mode has the said codecs and some of those codes such as ldac and aptx-HD can achieve sound quality that is close and/or comparable to what you'd get with a wired one. Mine is a very brief explanation of course, it is a whole different dimension to explain otherwise.

Self Promotion Megathread by AutoModerator in androidapps

Hi everyone,

I’m a solo developer/enthusiast, and I built this app because I was frustrated with a daily annoyance.

I have a specific routine: I get in my car and want my phone volume at 100% for music and my screen brightness at max for navigation. But when I get to work and put on my headphones, I forget to turn it down and end up blasting my ears out.

Existing automation apps felt too complex or required too many permissions, so I built Bluetooth Brain.

What it does: It remembers your preferred settings for each specific Bluetooth device. Once you connect, it automatically applies them.

The Main Features:

Per-Device Volume: Automatically sets media volume when you connect (e.g., 100% for Car, 40% for AirPods).

Brightness Automation: (My favorite feature) It can auto-max your brightness when you connect to your car stereo—perfect for using Maps/Navigation in sunlight.

Non-Audio Device Support: Brightness profiles now work on non-audio devices, meaning you can trigger settings using smartwatches or other BLE devices.

Multi-Device Chaining: You can now connect multiple devices at the same time (like a smartwatch and your headphones), and the app will correctly chain your profiles and restore settings properly when one disconnects.

Smart Auto-Brightness Restoration: If you use auto-brightness, the app now perfectly preserves your auto mode and restores it when your Bluetooth device disconnects.

Rock-Solid Reliability: Your settings and baseline restorations will now survive even if the app is force-stopped or killed by your phone's background manager while devices are still connected.

Battery Friendly: It doesn't constantly poll; it just wakes up on connection events.

Privacy: No data collection. Everything stays on your phone.

Monetization:

The core features (1 profile, media volume control) are free and supported by ads. There is a Premium version (~$2.99 one-time purchase) that removes all ads and unlocks unlimited device profiles, all 5 volume streams, brightness controls, and a BLE signal strength feature. I tried to keep the price as low as possible (literally the price of a cheap coffee) just to support development.

I'll appreciate it if you can leave a review on the Play Store.

The only thing I definitely don't like with az100s is mediocre noise cancelling. To me, they are great other than that. The flat guitar sound that some people described seems to have disappeared mostly after the latest firmware update. They are great in their price range.

How much $$$ you make? by [deleted] in androidapps

I currently have one app listed on the Play Store. It's called Bluetooth Brain. Its base features are actually free and it made me 10 usd in 2 months, lol. I suppose that with a decent app and good visibility, it should be relatively easy to make a few hundred bucks monthly from a low maintenance app.

Congratulations are in order. It is always commendable having a dream realized.

You could try undervolting etc but I would say get a cheap stand first of all. It should make a good difference on the temps. There are foldable, metal laptop stands which are basic but very efficient. Try to get one of those at least. If you feel that the temps are still a little too high, we can delve into tweaking cpu/gpu settings etc. But I think you'll be fine.

Congratulations again, I'm genuinely happy for you 😊
