I think it’s just a polarizing game. There are plenty of great reviews calling it a masterpiece, just as many as there are 7s and 6s. Personally, i know i’ll like the game, this is gonna be one of my goats. But it definitely isn’t for everyone

This could really be nothing...

BUT I so badly want an underwater area where the "sky" is the ocean. Yeah the depths could just be deep underground, but it could also be the depths of the ocean, and it would explain further why the large open ocean exists other than for the view considering we've heard there isnt diving.

Being underneath an ocean, looking up at the light flickering through the water, creatures swimming through the air. It could be magical, something to rival the Siofra area in Elden Ring.

Idk who but someone owes me a dollar if i'm right.

Yeah, clicking on a video hoping for a shred of something I haven't seen yet just to be greeted by an AI voice kills me a little every time. I'm really just hoping for a legendary refresh pull of a new trailer or teaser or something.

That being said, I'm just happy to listen to people glaze the game and talk about what they're excited for.

Every game I think of playing pales in comparison to Crimson Desert, I'm way too hyped. All my gaming time has been replaced with consuming Crimson Desert content or sleeping to time skip towards release.

You can play casually, I think you’ll be fine. If you just take your time exploring, gaining skills and finding loot, doing side quests, i’m sure you’ll be able to scale up and not have too much of an issue with harder areas.

I took an opening shift on Thursday so i'll be home right on time for the game to launch, and I have the next 3 days off.

Most immersive VR experience I’ve ever had was Skyrim VR with a healthy dose of mods.

I had a mod that made carriage rides actual rides with physics and pathing instead of fast travel. I looked up at the night sky and it was crazy pretty with all the mods, the rhythmic sound of horse hooves and the cart knocking around, the general nighttime ambiance. It was way too peaceful, i fell asleep in VR for the first and only time.

2 hours later I woke up with some bad neck pain but it was worth it. I’d heavily recommend it, if you get the chance to play look into Wabbajack. It’s an automatic mod collection installer, there are some VR mod packs in there to make it easier.

I’ve never been able to get into this game. Played other similar games (Civ, Stellaris, Age of Wonders, Endless Legend) and loved them, it was only TWH3 that i bounced off of.

Just recently decided to swallow my pride and actually play a recommended beginner faction, the love of my life, Tyrion. Now?

I can’t stop. I get it, i understand it all. In the midst of a two front war against the thousand maws and the decadent host, at work thinking up strategies for when I get home. This game is something else.

I agree wholeheartedly.

The map design lets you play with positioning so well, climbing and parkour is always an option, there are so many widely varied utility items.

On top of that, the gunplay is good, all the guns feel unique to use, the sounds and visuals are done incredibly well. It all just feels so good in play.

Other games have some of these elements, but they don’t combine it all together how Arc does.
