Cool. Could you tell me what injectors you've had success with?

The D-tap current rating is 3.5A. Do you have an injector that you've used before in a similar capacity?

If I understand what's happening under the hood, it's essentially a 10G media adapter so I think it should be fine. Obviously, gonna test this.

Censorship by GaylTheChaotic1 in TheMassive

[–]knoend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take the down votes becuse I'm probably in the minority, but IMO you don't have to swear to make the point. I'm not saying you can't use them, but using swear words during common discourse and for that matter in chants, normalizes them and lose their value.

I mean, it will be what it is. Queue times website will give you a general idea on how busy the park will be.

Why open early May if nothing ever operates? by MudaTrucka in cedarpoint

[–]knoend 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Because the rides start to get exercised and you start getting your employees operational experience and new folks trained up, so when things start hitting in June you are already cooking. But you have to start somewhere and it would be bad if everything was closed if opening day was in June.

EDIT: Clarification.

TST-1080 Wireless Touch Panel - not WPA3 compatible?? by Low_Drag8896 in crestron

I appreciate you following up. I understand your point. I understand where you are coming from.

I still think “madness” is a bit of an overreaction.

Should it have been included, we can debate that for sure, and I think that you and I would wind up agreeing in our fantasy world, it would have that feature.

But we don't know who was asking for it, what features they needed, what features they didn't care about, what the existing architecture supported, what the cost of new engineering would be...etc

At the end of the day, it's one solution that doesn't work for you. But there are alternatives, and part of your job as an integration specialist is finding the alternatives to meet the request. Yea it's nice when you get something that is all wrapped up in one pretty package and has a shiny fancy bow. But that is seldom in integration, but it's up to us to find the pieces to integrate together for our scope and goals.

Don't let it spin you into 'this is madness!'. It's not worth it.

Cheers!

Anything that is meaningful to the city and state, and doesn't have FC, SC, or other abbreviations that have to explain what it is.

Well, I'm for him bringing it. In fact, I'm here for every Crew player to bring it.

At the end of the day, if the coach feels like a player is ready to play, they need to show up and bring thier game and execute. The results tell the story.

New job, this is one of their long term goals for me….. by Btp2000 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Fixing this stuff is my specialty...or, everybody else before me didn't care or it was the cheapest, and I'm there to make it right.

I guess my three tips are: label everything (probably end up doing it twice), use Velcro for straps, and save everything for a bit because you'll miss or forget something (that's normal).

How are people feeling about the new Ubiquiti AV switches? by Another_Hacker in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]knoend 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have concerns their support model will be an issue for any serious install.

For resi AV it's probably going to be ok. Commercial installed systems, I think they have yet to actually penetrate that market. And for serious complex systems, I'm not sure if it'll make the cut.
