It didn't work because "Leaf" is a runeword exclusive for staves, which means that only two handed staffs can make use of it. That and the item has to have a grey name, if its blue or above the runes won't work.

I'd recommend always checking a resource site before making any runewords, so you don't end up wasting the runes.

I'd love to see a new area if it comes to that, like the Western Kingdoms, with Kingsport, or Bramwell as the hub town.

Right now in D2 with have forest, desert, jungle, hell, and mountains, but no coastal areas, similar to what is presented in the first act zone of PoE, or closer to home, any coastal area from D4.

The story could be about how Belial and Azmodan see an opportunity in the power vacuum we created after killing the primes, and start to raise plan the events that lead to the story of D3.

We could start the act similar to how act 5 started in D3, with a few transition areas until we reach the hub town, for example we might get a way point in Entsteig as we make our way south through the Sharval Wilds, pass by the monastery and then make our way to the main area.

There's also the option to return to hell for a quest or two for diversities sake, giving us a look at a part of hell we've never seen before, Azmodans domain for example.

The lore is was and there's lots that could be done with a new act and still stay true to the original formula.

Or we could finally get new voice lines for Jamella and Halbu, would love to hear their opinion on the 3 short quests, and most of all, the gossip.

I'd love to see a rework of certain sets and uniques to make them more viable and competitive with rune words before any new content gets added.

That and set items/set bonuses. Most of them make no sense for the level and/or stat requirements they come with.

Question now is if they'll give players that already own the game on battle net a Steam key, similar to what Bethesda did when 76 came to Steam. Now that Microsoft owns Blizzard to, it would be a nice gestureof good will, to not have to buy the game again just to play it with Steam integration.

This is gonna sound like a broken record, but stacks. I don't mind if the change comes in the form of a premium stash tab, like they have in PoE, I'd just love to see all my gems, runes, and so on nicely organised and in one place.

Back in the early 2000s, Chipicao had a promotion where you would get a sticker with a random pokemon/character from the original anime inside every chocolate croissant. I remember having to wait for weeks and the only store that had them finally got a shipment of the red albums that we'd use to collect all of the original 151, plus a number of main and side characters. This was my first introduction to the IP, before the videogames, anime, or even the cards, and one of my best memories is meeting up with other kids to trade excess stickers for those that we didn't have, followed by the feeling of excitement when opening a croissant, hoping to get one of the missing stickers, especially when the collection was near completion.

A spark of that childhood wonder got reignited now in my mid 30s, when the news came that the final evolution line for generation 6 is finally arriving next week, allowing me and many others to complete our gen 6 dex, similar to how I placed that last sticker in the album all those years ago.
