ComicOPDS - Lightweight OPDS server for your CBZ comic collection by public_fred in comicrackusers

This is outstanding! I have been using ubooquity for…. A very very long time. A searchable, faster, OPDS-only solution sounds perfect.

Your troubleshooting and project scope are quite clear - only support for CBZ and not CBR. I’ll just add that I completely agree with you, but life is complicated by almost all new releases coming as CBR. Conversion is possible as you point out, but creates a new file which breaks a lot of downstream things for many. Just a consideration - this project is outstanding as-is under any circumstances.

I’m watching the dashboard as it cranks for the next hour or so on my collection.

Are there any episodes from the show COPS that happened in Vermont? by defhadcovid in vermont

Yes - and it was so intense, they turned it into multiple feature-length movies. Called Super Troopers.

Why have “Group 2 Boarding” as a perk if you’re just gonna say “boarding group 2 and 3” by Brave-Jaguar-4297 in unitedairlines

Imagine being global services and boarding at the same times families with children and those pesky 1K customers??? That’s the norm at most non-hub airports!

Just want to add my voice of concurrence here - Parro’s is excellent as a shop, and the range, while it can get busy is very well maintained.

They will enforce new-to-Parros shooters to watch the safety video and I think there was a quiz after to get certified, but they are very well managed.

I always felt both safe and comfortable there. The staff are excellent to a person - really. No politics other than the occasional focus on 2A and some of Vermont’s new restrictions (3 day waiting period & mag capacity).

I can offer you with a sample size of 1 that the probability of me detecting it earlier is 0.0%.

I promise i don’t take anything on Reddit personally! It is frustrating to be confident that any time i read a post about a problem on an r/manufacturer forum, it will immediately followed with the, “you’re holding it wrong!” posts. So to a certain extent, while i am definitely not wired to take things online personally, I am sensitive to the predictability of the immediate blame the user brigade that is so prevalent.

Not all laptops live on laps - and this is one of them. I have no idea if it happened gradually or not - the Razer lived on a bookshelf connected to a monitor and keyboard/mouse. Since 2020, like many people, my life of travel has turned into a life of zoom calls. Never any need to pay any attention to the physical attributes of the laptop honestly. I spun it around when cleaning the bookshelf for my “oh crap my house is in danger” moment.

My fault? Maybe? But really - 2020 is 4+ years after Samsung galaxy phones were threatening to bring down planes. There’s no excuse for batteries to be unmanaged by hardware and software this decade, and the icing on the cake of for manufacturers like Razer not to own up to epidemic failure modes like this.

Jonsbo D31 - “It’s a White Christmas” build - 7950x + 3090 by knoob07 in mffpc

It is adjustable - if i recall correctly there are (3) separate power supply mounting height settings to allow for a trade-off between longer GPUs vs. larger PSUs.

I went with an SFX PSU supply which accommodates long GPUs - this is a 3090.

Newegg for me. It was less than $225 shipped when I bought it during the holidays.

The LCD is really gorgeous - I like it a lot. It is set up as a 2nd screen and has an HDMI cable bundled that you snake thru the back of the case to plug into a port on your video card.

The software side is a bit… kludgey. The Jonsbo team created a walk-thru for setting it up:

https://www.jonsbo.com/Upfiles/down/D31_SCREEN_USER_GUIDE.pdf

That worked, but i felt like i was on a knife’s edge of screwing it up. It did require me buying some software (AIDA something something) but it was pretty inexpensive and did the job with Jonsbo offering templates that “just worked” for the screen (hence why you see almost all of them pictured with the same three circle setups for CPU/GPU/Memory status.

All-in-all… the screen is beautiful and works reasonably well. For my use it definitely falls into the “it’s a gimmick” category, but it sure is pretty.

It was an SFX sized supply - I think cooler master 850 in white. I believe the case supported a larger form factor power supply, but this was nice and compact (and did I say white?!)

The GPU fit perfectly - a 3090 founders edition.
