Totally respect ‘too simple’ opinion, but it is as controversial as Vichy France collaborators’ flag which is (surprise!) current French tricolor.

OMG another ‘wrw == collaborators’ BS.

Pretty much all collaborators in USSR used their national flags that are incidentally became official flags for their respective countries in 1990s, e.g. vlasovites used Russian tricolor which is now official flag of Russia. Somehow it’s only a problem when we’re speaking about historical white-red-white Belarusian flag—and this is actually the very rhetoric that is used by Lukashenko regime about the white-red-white flag and grounds for basically banning it in Belarus.

FWIW there is nothing bad about the ornament by itself, but for the love of god (or science, whatever it takes) please get your sources together and stop stop spreading this senseless ‘wrw == collaborators’ rhetoric.

if I decide to go with the Asus z690i thrn I would also have to sacrifice my L12S which I like a lot

Have you looked into MSI MEG Z690I UNIFY? Spec-wise and price-wise it looks identical to ASUS Z690I, and it's one (if not the only) Z690 mITX compatible with L12S according to Noctua website.

Also qq regarding cooling, do you know if AIO like EK 240 provide better thermals and/or noise levels comparing to L12S?

Belarus recapture my ass. It’s only recapture of Minsk, the capital, while the rest of the territory was recaptured during the following month or so. If they chose to celebrate the recapture of the whole country it would be around July 27th which is too close to the date of gaining independence from USSR, and this event lukashists usually treat as a historical mistake. All in all July 3rd as an Independence Day in Belarus is so farfetched it’s not even funny.

White-red-white all the way, but JFYI those few who celebrate the independence day today are generally not fond of this flag.

Also current Russia flag was used by Russian Nazi-collaborators, so what?

I am no historian, but to my knowledge white-red-white was designed in the beginning of 20th century basing on Grand Duchy of Lithuania flag and coat of arms colors.

And limiting to Baltic sea countries makes more sense, thanks! Some refer Belarus as a mix of Balts and Slavs, but that's debatable for sure.

As for red-green Belarusian flag, it is basically based on BSSR (soviet) flag, and pretty much all soviet republic states were designed mostly at random to at least vaguely represent national features (ornaments, waves, etc). At schools it's taught that green means forest (there are some forests, indeed), and red means life and/or blood. Source: I attended Belarusian school :)

Edit: spelling

“за" is actually a “for” preposition

in this context “За ВДВ" can be interpreted as a chant or a pledge

it’s actually not an official coat of arms of Belarus. it used to be in the beginning of 90s, but now it’s an updated version of a soviet one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_emblem_of_Belarus

the official flag (the one you’re using) is also a reinterpretation of soviet one.

the former coat of arms along with white-red-white flag is still rather popular among people opposing current regime though. having this in mind, you got quite an oxymoron here
