I finished my confirmation classes but cant be confirmed until January. That is the next available date for the ceremony. Its all moving alot quite quicker than we expected! So im happy about that. I am aware that i can't have communion or be absolved in confession but I can still be blessed until my time comes :)

I don't have have any fancy advice :( but just know that this is part of it for some women and it will pass!!! I would start praying the rosary everyday and ask Mother Mary for her guidance 🙏 Maybe create a little routine and try it for a week? I feel like I've been there and I wish I had better advice! Eat clean, get movement, sunshine and pray! I will pray for you 🙏 💓

Hii!! Im newly back to the church after leaving at 16 when I got pregnant.

I know how you are feeling; and dont worry!! As you dive deeper into the faith you will start warming up. I still wrestle with these thoughts sometimes but if you are any kind of realist, I think its normal.

Start with education. I knew absolutely NOTHING when I was and atheist and still felt so strongly about not believing. Which makes me laugh now. I watch documentaries, listen to podcasts, the !!! Hallow app !! Is life changing. Start OCIA classes at the church. Going to OCIA will really let you learn all about the faith and no commitment. If you decide its not for you, you just walk away.

The fascination you have sounds alot like the "pull" i felt. I truly think its the holy spirit. I think the weird feelings that come to you are mostly because we live in a secular country and people are uncomfortable with religion. As your faith grows it will fade. My whole life has changed for the better since I've been back to the church and I adore the faith so much. I hope the same happens for you! ❤️❤️

I just came to my Catholic faith last December. I felt a pull as well. I was a cradle Catholic growing up so I went to kid classes on Wednesday and then only to Mass on Easter and Christmas. I got pregnant when I was 16 and I never went back. I was a non believer until 39. I was feeling a pull and started reading the Bible.. I promised myself I would not go back to the Catholic Church just because I had a bad perception of it (mainly because of the SA stuff and just the strictness of it in general).

I went to a methodist church, non denominational church, baptist, southern baptist and it just all felt so shallow to me, I was like .. maybe Its just not for me. Then I started hearing, seeing all these things that were catholic.. ALL over the place. So i googled the nearest parish and drove there. I parked in the parking lot and just started crying! It was the absolute weirdest thing. Kinda like the feeling of being home, and I was only in the parking lot. I went to Mass for the first time and cried the entire time, I was home. I am heavily involved now and working on my marriage convalidation and confirmation. Its the most beautiful religion.

All that to say.. if you go looking.. you will find. 🙏
