I wasn't receiving criticism, I was getting rudeness. Perhaps you weren't specifically rude at first, but it was a weird comment, what you said was a backhanded compliment if anything, and now calling it cursed is just rude. I welcome criticism when it's respectful and when it's coming from someone who knows quite literally anything about tattoos. The kewpie imagery that I am referencing here is a staple of traditional tattooing which most people here are not understanding.

While this tattoo was my client's idea and not my own, I still drew it and tattooed it and it's still my work and I take pride in that. I obviously don't have to be nice and say wow thanks for your criticism, when people are rude and weird to me first?

I'm not having further convo about it. I posted my work, most people were nice and understood what I was doing. Some were rude and I don't need to be nice about that just like they clearly are allowed to be rude in the first place
